???? running at 120v ifit matters one is digital other will be magnetic both hps.

I am not sure what your lights are rated at but most 1000 are 9-10 amps from what I have seen. You should not go over 80% of the rated breaker(20amps). So that would be about 16 amps. So you should not put both of them on there if they are over 16 amps. I would put them on different breakers if it was me.

watts divided by volts= amps

2000w/110=18 amps that is not including ballasts.

2000w/220=9 amps again not including ballasts.

Ballasts are usually rated at about 5 amps. So you would have to add 10 more amps to those totals.

You should only use 80% of a given circuits amperage rating, to avoid tripping the breaker. A 20 amp breaker would be stressed trying to run both of those lights. I would suggest a 20 amp tandem circuit breaker. It is 2 20 amp breakers in one. Then you would have a 20 amp breaker dedicated to each light.

1000w/110=9 amps+5 for the ballast= 14 amps.

Depends on your ballasts, I had to magnetic ballasts there were 15 amps each, my new digitals are like 1/4 that if not less. Check the rating on your ballasts that will tell you, make sure you try to turn them both on at the same exact time so it doesn't pop your breaker when you aren't there too.
