Help! Space / Light / Container !!

Small space & other unsure questions.
Hello all, I am new here. I have done previous grows, but it has been a while.

I have a 600W MH/HPS & 3 FT X4.3 FT X9FT available. I measured it with a dollar (had nothing better at the time, so it may be bigger. I took off a few inches incase the measurement was inaccurate).

Tomorrow, I will measure it with a tape ruler.

Q1. Which reflector should I get?

1a. Digital 600 watt HPS & MH GROW LIGHT 600w w COOL TUBE ! - eBay (item 120412743382 end time Jul-26-09 13:28:48 PDT)
OR
1b. DIGITAL AIR COOL TUBE GROW LIGHT 600 WATT HPS+MH 600W - eBay (item 320391575230 end time Jul-29-09 15:45:03 PDT)

I'm unsure of which reflector to get and why? I have a little over 4.3x3 FT of ground space.

Q2. I was thinking about hooking up a 9,000 BTU AC through the cooltube for less heat. Are there any problems you see with this?

Q3. I'm thinking 4 plants. Think it's possible? Should I definitely stick to sativa and not any indica or hybird strains? I'm going for weight + quality (2oz+ per plant).

I'll check on what kind of clones are available, any suggestions would be nice
.

I'm going to use some kind of water container with a hole supporting a netpot. The roots would sit in hydroton inside the netpots above the water surface. Bubbles would come up, splash and roots would grow downwards towards and into the water.

Q4a. How many gallons of water per plant container would be efficient for each plant (don't want root bound)?
Q4b. Equal amounts of water; would I want more water depth (cylinder container / higher water level) or more water spread (rectangular container / lower water level)?
Q4c. What size of a netpot would be best, 3", 5", more?

I'm going to use some kind of liquid transfer to test the ph/tds and to reset the water every 1-2 weeks. I was looking on ebay and this is what I've came across so far, think its effecient? Auto & Manual liquid transfer pumps.

Q5 Which one or other would you recommend?

5a. LIQUID TRANSFER PUMP Battery Power SIPHON GAS OIL WATER - eBay (item 370231043471 end time Jul-24-09 07:02:05 PDT)
OR
5b. MANUAL HAND SIPHON FLUID LIQUID TRANSFER TOOL PUMP KIT - eBay (item 250346865609 end time Aug-19-09 21:09:54 PDT)

This is all thought at the moment, but I am ready at any minute to start purchasing. I am ordering / purchasing parts within the next 7 days and I'll start the project within 3 weeks. I will keep a day to day picture journal, or some kind of diary here
.

Note: I am low on money and I feel bad for all the questions.

Please share your knowledge / experiences / suggestions / anything! Thank you all for your time.

Following are my opinions FWIW:

I like 1b. better, seems like a better deal, you could probably make an offer, no shipping costs.

Q2. I was thinking about hooking up a 9,000 BTU AC through the cooltube for less heat. Are there any problems you see with this?
Not that I can think of. Don't think it's necessary unless you're trying to reduce your heat signature outside.

Q3. I'm thinking 4 plants. Think it's possible? Should I definitely stick to sativa and not any indica or hybird strains? I'm going for weight + quality (2oz+ per plant).
4 plants is no problem. Could do more if you wanted (SOG). You have the height and lights to get 2 oz/plant from sativas if that's your preference.

Q4a. How many gallons of water per plant container would be efficient for each plant (don't want root bound)?
I would say 4-5 gallons/plant. More water means more stability (ph, nute strength, temperature, top-off frequency) but also more costs for nutes. See Q5 for another option.

Q4b. Equal amounts of water; would I want more water depth (cylinder container / higher water level) or more water spread (rectangular container / lower water level)?
I would go with more depth if height isn't a concern. It will be easier to fit 4 5-gallon buckets in your space.

Q4c. What size of a netpot would be best, 3", 5", more?
I like the 5" best.

I suppose I would go with 5a. You might want to look into a recirculating DWC where you have a separate reservoir and say 3 gallon buckets. For a multi-bucket DWC it's easier to manage/change your water with a separate reservoir in my opinion. If you're somewhat handy it's easy enough to make one your self.
