Hermie question

Had a healthy plant, took several clones, (1st timer here), they all lived and rooted, then the Momma plant had extreme heat stress and shock. My Dumba** fault!) It lived and i decided to bud it out and use a clone for the new mom. started to bud, then some of the buds started to get flowers and seed pods, not all, but 1/3. Finally my question, if the stress caused it to turn Hermie, will the clones be Fem or Herm? will i have to bud 1 or 2 and find out? Anybody? Thanks in advance!!!

As far as I know stress can cause more males, and hermaphrodites, in proportion to females, but a true mature female doesn't turn hermaphrodite due to stress.

thats plausable and true, but it depends on the strain because some plants are hard to hermie and like mine is 100% female and i stressed it from removing it from outside soil to fiming it 2 times at 7 inches tall, and also i toped ot and changed the lights and etc, and its nothing

wasn't all the way mature when i transplanted it into soil that had been in sun. heat index was 105! I know, stupid! took clones very early, was actually experimenting while waiting on prime seeds. heat stressed nplant almost died. was kinda hoping that turned it. wishful thinkin?

I'm a little unsure of your question. If your asking if the clones you took from the mother before she hermied will be ok the answer is most likely. if your asking if the clone you took after she hermied will be ok I don't know.

I don't think that buding some of them will tell you much about the rest of them.

I have never heard that an adult female won't hermie due to stress. I have had a few adult females that were flowering and hermied due to stress.

all the clones were taken(4) about 2 weeks before stress

As long as she hermied due to stress after taking the clones there isn't a problem. happy growing
