Hey, i have a problem, well i think i do, i germinated my seeds, planted them i had them under my lamp for a couple of days, then my ballast started smelling of burning plastic, so i was with out a light for a day, i couldnt get back to the shop for a new one so i stuck them outside in my greenhouse, now i have a working lamp again and there under it in my grow tent.
do you think they will be ok and grow.
also the soil drys out in about 12 hours i seem to be watering alot i have my light about a foot away, is this normal?

can you provide more information such as the kind of light you are using and strength of it... what sort of soil amendments do you have in the soil you are using?? how big are your plants and how big are the pots they are in?? do you have any pics you can post??

your plants should be fine, natrually plants don't get direct sunlight ALL the time so it's ok to go a day or two without it as long as they are in veg. If your soil dries too fast just put them in bigger pots, that should solve the problem

im using a 600w high pressure sodium lamp, in a 1.5m x 1.5m x 2.0m grow tent, they arnt even plants yet, i planted the seeds about a week ago, i have no sprouts yet
