hell ya its nice to see people going to school. I'm starting my first to years at my local comunnity college but I plan on transferring to an university after the first two years. I'm going into engineering, cant decided between mechanical, civil/envoirmental, or aeronautical engineering. Anyone has any input?
what do you think would be the most awarding to you. Which one do you beileve you would enjoy most? Are you looking for what anually accur more money? These are all factors I took under consideration while making my choice for a major!

i go to QCC, next is my 3rd year, and i dont live on campus. sometimes i feel like i miss out on college partys and meeting girls because every one at my school gos to class leaves and continues their own live, i never meet new people outside of my little stoner clique. def invest in a window fan and keep a rolled up towel by the door. and if your roomate dont smoke, dont smoke in front of him, pretend to respect his wishes, and smoke when hes at class and light insense before he gets back.

good luck at school creepysteve, and like a few people said already, have a good time but dont let booze and wet pussy cloud your judgement

College is actually pretty fun, all the fuck ups who hate school aren't ther because they are not forced to go like they were when minors, the teachers are mostly cool but you always get that wierd ass foreign teacher who you barley understand. Most the freshmen are dumbasses because they are just coming out of high school and don;t have many responsibilities. It's also very easy to spot the stoner girls, there are usually 1-2 in each class.

I had an Indian professor who taught Algebra .. I couldn't understand anything he said and he graded on tests only, each test was 1 equation. I dropped that class as soon as could.

I had another professor, really nice guy, really smart, but he spoke in mono-tone and was unbearable to listen to especially during a 3 hour night class. Dropped that class.

I had another professor who was just a complete and total ass. The first day of class the first words out of his mouth were, "All women are whores, all blacks are ni***rs, and everyone else is okay." I walked out of that class and dropped it that afternoon.

Then there were the teacher that I could have lived in their classes for an eternity. I particularly liked my music appreciation class (it was required for music majors.) That prof walked in and the first words he said were, "I am fully aware that you all appreciate music. I'm going to teach you how to understand your appreciation and provide you with the tools to identify a piece you've never heard, from a composer you don't know well, and know not only how it was written but why it was written. Then again, 'why it was written' is usually pretty easy."

I raised my hand after that sentence and he called on me. "Sir isn't most music if not all of it written for one or both of two purposes?" he waited for the reasons "I am of the understanding that they all wrote music either to get paid, laid or both."

I got an A++ in that class. I say ++ because there wasn't a letter for a score of 125% of the total points possible. I did all the work, all the class participation and all the extra credit while never missing a point. He was an incredible prof.

They all vary and at the end of it all, you remember the ones you liked the most the best.

I have friends who did all of those. They all enjoyed there majors from what I saw. The internships for engineers pay very well. Most of them also found jobs after graduating, which can't be said for most majors. But like someone said, think about what you will enjoy the most. All the classes are pretty similar usually, except for the more specialized classes. So for engineers at my school, it was pretty easy to switch in between each specialization (this might only be this easy because my school was a smaller private school, so I dunno).
