Yeah I have to admit I am not as careful with the ducting stuff now as I should be...

Not that I needed to be before, my lights were 36" from the plants and even without the fan ducting out the hot air I couldn't feel heat anywhere near the plant tops.

Now that I have it lowered to 24" above the tallest one, I need to make sure there is no excess heat...

I just temped the exhaust from the light....79 degrees F. So its pretty cool round here! The room is sitting at 73f currently!

Jesse... I THINK it will work...

I worry about light leaks...

Everything else looks good on paper...

Keep the ducting as smooth as possible and avoid sharp 90* bends...

I can't wait to see it all running...

I worry about light leaks too. But I want it all in one small space.

I think if I build it properly it should work.

How much intake/exhaust do you think I will need/where do you think I will need it?

I was thinking a 6" intake to the flower and a passive intake for the veg.

8" exhaust fan for the flower room and 4" exhaust for the veg room into flower.

Then a 6" 340 CFM fan to cool the two lights.

Remind me why you think you need an intake fan again... is it something to do with the ac?

If there is no specific reason, I would ditch the intake fan and us all my blowers for exhaust...

Well I am tryin to plan ahead...

I just think this tent is gonna still wanna run a little hot.

I guess I would rather just overkill it...

You think the 8" exhaust is enough?

I don't plan on using blowers....inline fans only. They are too loud.

I would use all fans for exhaust...

8" - flower exhaust filter

6" - lights

6" or 4" - veg exhaust

Passive intake - extra fan is a spare...good thing to have...

sure... but usually intake fans do not make things cooler, unless you have a source of COLD air that is far away... other wise, it's just an extra blower...

If you have a lot of cfm going out, it will HAVE to come in...

That makes sense...

Well if I can keep the temps at 68f now (if I want) in 90f weather....

Then when I button this all up and vent it properly....it should be fine, right?

Me neither! And, hey, if it runs 5 degrees warmer than I want in the dead heat of summer, then I guess I will just have to run co2 :-) :-)

Oh no!

I am going to eventually I think. We will see how much loot I wanna blow.

just remember...co2 is only worth the extra money if everything else is dialed in...

it's like the cherry on the cake... it goes on very last after EVERY OTHER THING IS PERFECT...
