A bit hyperbolic, don't you think? In the grand scheme of things, even if Obama was born somewhere else (which I highly doubt), it wouldn't matter all that much. It certainly would not be the biggest mess in the history of the United States. Thus far, Iraq and Vietnam take the cake.

Smashing the foundational blocks of our Constitution to usurp power IS A BIG DEAL, perhaps THE BIGGEST OF ALL!! It's bigger than anything else by a far and wide margin.....think about it.

ya she over reached but I dont think the military would cancel his orders to deploy unless they had no choice. as now, anyone who wants to get out of serving in the military can file the same type of suit and the military has just opened the door for this to happen all over the united states


the Military would never do this willingly as you can see the future issues this ruling is going to crop up in the hundreds atleast

I cant wait untill hundreds of service men who want to be sure thier commander and chief is legit before he sends them to their deaths file the same type objections

I think at the very least they deserve that from our president before he sends them to thier possible deaths.

he tells them "hey go fight this war I say it is just" but yet he is unwilling to submit his elegibility to issue such orders, making them have to kill on faith that what they are doing is legal by the law.

this is ugly so ugly, if i was in the military and had a commander and chief that had such little respect for his soildier in arms i would tell him to piss on a turd too until he can find the time in his presious day to pull out a piece of paper showing he was "born in the USA" as they say

You act as though Obama started the war. He did not. Bush started the war. It is NOT a just war. But Obama did not start it.

And remember, McCain was NOT born in the US either, so your second bolded statement is redundant.

Even if Obama was born in Kenya (highly unlikely), his mother was still a citizen. Granted, she wasn't old enough to automatically make him a US citizen, so a judge would have to interpret. I think every judge has already decided which way (s)he would rule. Obama is going to remain the president. You can keep on this tangent, but it's a desperation move. Is this really all you have? Even if he was born in Kenya, it will get pushed under the rug. Add it to the long list of presidential conspiracies. I mean, you act as though this is THE biggest event ever in the history of the world, but it's no where close. Bush stole a damn election in 2000, started an illegal war, caused our economy to crumble, and ran the most unethical and mobster like government in the history of the US. Cheney had his own death squad for God's sakes. Quit being so one-sided. It's really blind one-sidedness. I don't like Obama and it's still quite clear to me.

But it could be argued that Bush smashed the foundational blocks of the constitution by lying to start in illegal war, which eventually led to the fall of our economy. It's all a matter of interpretation. This matter with Obama will be forgotten. But history will not be so kind to Bush. If Obama screws up, then history will show it, but this is a done issue. The courts already made a ruling. They NEVER recant (even in 2000 with the stop of the Florida recount).

Every president in recent history has used a teleprompter or notecards. That's a FACT. If you're going to criticize Obama, use legitimate reasons. And if you're criticizing him for doing something that EVERY other president has done, why single him out? It makes little sense.

Bush, Cheney, and Rove wrote the book on betrayal and deception. I say this only because you're singling out Obama because you think he deceived the American people. It's a fact that Bush deceived the public in at least three major ways (creating a false pretense for war, torturing prisoners in break with the conventions, and 'losing' documents which exposed other atrocities by his regime). Why is Obama's deception somehow worse? Explain that to me please.

If Obama lied, it's bad. But he's not the first and you act like it is. Why would this lie be more significant than Bush's. Thousands of soldiers died because of Bush's lie.

2. There will NEVER be a civil war, a race war, a nuclear war, or a third party. Sorry, the fix is in, never going to happen. You can stop planning for Armageddon, because things are built to last more than you know.

3. We spend 600 Billion a YEAR on defense in this country...which is more than all other countries COMBINED! If anyone is worried about how Obama is going to pay for his stimulus plan, the answer is simple: He's going to cut our bloated military, just like Clinton did.

(Side note: as a veteran, I might usually be worried about that sort of thing, but Obama's veteran care and education packet now pays me 1200 a month to go to school...which I'm putting right back in to the economy).

4. It is impossible to tell if McCain would have done a better job. Living in the past is the refuge of fools, and if wishes were horses, beggars would ride. Knock off the bull shit and live in the now.

5. Compared to Bush, he's actually doing a Stellar job. Remember: none of the current economic problems or wars are his fault, and without those two problems...we actually don't have very many in this country. All that will remain to deal with is the EVIL of the right wing Christians. Who we shall crush.


If we're really lucky, he will stop listening to all of the American people (who do NOT hold degrees in economics) and begin SOCIALIZING ALL BASIC HUMAN SERVICES.
