so from what i read a 1000watt is gonna be hot so i was thinking about getting a 6inch cooltube reflector with a inline fan now how do you set up all the ventilation thingy s like where does the carbon filter go and the duct i watched videos but i dont really get it like is htere any diagrams on here i couldnt find any does the inline fan attach to one side of the cooltube reflector then you attach duct to it and then vent it somewhere inthe house? what about the other side of the cool tube where does the duct from that go and where do you put a carbon filter?

thanks

One side ducting bringing in fresh air-connect it to one side of the cool tube-duct on the other side is connected to your outtake fan connected to the other end of the cool tube.So it should be fan/fresh cool air duct-cooltube-duct-fan blowing out the hot air.

so the fresh cool air would be from an oscillating fan?

I have an eight inch cooltube. It was built by monkeys. I have a six inch too. That is better. The 8 inch actually has 7.5 inch collars. A six inch reducer does not fit and an 8 inch reducer does not fit. The seven inch does not fit. They dont make a 7.5 I dont think. And I dont think 8 inch tubes actually squeeze tight enough to fit a 7.5 inch collar. It is idiotic. Truly.

I think you can put your carbon filter on one side of the room and run the flex ducting from it to your hood. Then run flex duct from the other side of the hood to your inline blower that you can mount somewhere easy to exhaust out of the room. Either thru flex duct or rigid duct. Your fresh air intake fan should be the next size down from your blower to maintain negative pressure in the room. Use a duct fan or inline fan. You can regulate the fan speed with a reducer also. Hope this helps.

would i need to connteect all the ducting together or i can have like 2 seperate kinds i tihnk i seen it in video

You can have two separte ducts.as long as you have a fan on each it should work out fine.make sure you exhaust you hot air from your light and bring fresh air in the room tho.
