can i use mh in my hps system

i just read somewhere that u can put a mh bulb in a hsp system but you cant put hps into a hm system unless u get special bulbs....

i have 2 100w hps lights and i would like to be able to throw a mh in one of those once in a while to give it more blue light.... anyone know if this is true?????

ps... sorry for double posting i put one in indoor and grow room . i need to find answer soon

I think you read about conversion bulbs. A MH buld that it made for a HPS socket.

wanna bet???? you can safely run a m/h bulb of same wattage in a hps socket but not the reverse! and to the guy that made this thread why did you make a new thread about the same shit?

when i wrote them i put them up at same time in diff places cuz i didnt know where to put it and figured i would get a diff opinion... thats why i said sorry when i posted it.... on both of them
