you can get "autoflower" seeds, but other than that 12/12 light makes them flower

give them 12/12 now and they will vegg till there ready to flower, but its the fastest way

how long you think that will take they already like a month old
and ive heard topping can be done early wen the 3-4th leaf segment comes up but i do not know how 2 do that

fried - My apologies if this was answered already but are you using an incandescent bulb? I'm jammin on some PK's night now and I kinda skimmed the first couple pages of your thread so I could have missed it but if you are growing with incandescent you are breaking the first rule of growing. :evil:

Pick up a few 'Daylight' CFL's at WalMart. They should say 'Daylight' or 6500k. Then use the 'Soft White' (2700k) for flowering. The bulbs are a little spiral, not the typical looking lightbulb. They don't have an external ballast like the MH and HPS bulbsand they are very easy to use, relatively cheap, and don't use that much energy. Homeowners use them because they a 26 watt CFL will give off as much light as a 100 watt incandecent. Your plants will be much happier.

hey thanks ive been waiting for an answer like this on this whole thread! cheap easy to get lights at a local store! thanks right now im using a spiral bulb i switched em' but im guessing i need a stronger one

i had a fuck up during when i planted the seeds from whn they sprouted till now i kinda fucked up the lightage so now the 12/12 is from 1pm-1am means burnouts could fuck everything up?
Falling asleep while burntout really has been a kilelr for me so does like half an hour make a difference in 12/12?

The plants are not the problem it is the lighting that you are useing.get a h.p.s light the money that you folk out for it will be regained after first grow.It is a waste of time and effort you could get jail for what a quarter get better lighting or give it up and save up for some.Take it from me the police will show no mercy and you will get charged with the same quantity has if you was useing higher intence lighting.Sorry dude just trying to lead you away from jail if you are gonna grow do it right make it worth the risk.

hps? im using a light that gives of heat and a good amount of light i switched cuz i was using an incandesent bulb now i got sum of those spiral lights people use they are energy savers and trust me where i am the cops could care less about like someone growing pot in thier closet cops would never find out because i live in a wooded area with lots of trees and shit the cops are cool about it up here plus its decriminalized

hps is a high pressure sodium, you can get them in 400, 600, and 1000 watts. they look more like this http://www.bestgrowlights.com/site/403863/product/FBGL6523

thats a really really good one, but u can get them on craigslist for under 120$ for some really good ones... and yes that wall mart link is what ya want. just make sure it says 6500 somewhere on the box

my advice is go with the compact floresent's this grow and while ur growing look through riu and ppld grow journals, by the time ur ready for ur 2nd grow u should have a really good idea what u want to do.

so your saying that the cfls are wat i can use for my entire grow now and hps lights are better for wen i want to do a 2nd grow?
if yes thats wat you mean great you have been a great help in this thread in helping me with my newbie problems in growing ive learned allot from you dolce and i really thank you

dude you obviously have alot learn about growing, plz pay close attension to all the forums on this site and you will learn more from everyone, it does'nt hurt to ask a question when your not sure about something, don't just take one person's word for it, ask everyone you come across for advice.

yeah ive been doing that n posting threads on what i wanted to know to get sum expert opinion on all things ganja
