Nutmeg as a hallucinogenic??

Ive heard stories from sum of the local potheads and hallucinogenics users that if you eat a certain amount of nutmeg you will begin 2 feel an out of body experience followed by an intense vibrating feeling?Theve said that theyve tripped sometimes and also lost sight for breif moments sounds dangerous do any of you have any info or things theve heard about this common household spice?

Yes, it is just a term for diphenhydramine. I had to learn the hard way (I was all of 12 at the time I tried it) that was a good 20 years ago.

Your better off shaving from a full nutmeg. The powder is horrid. Ive tried smoking it. Drinking it. Nothing. Nasty. But yeah shaving it you can consume more with out that taste. Not really sure what the "Trip" is though.

yea i smoked it gagged threw up it was just bad i hate nutmeg i dont even wana try 2 put that in my mouth but i wouldent say its much of a trip more of a weird somewhat painful thing i got the worst headache ever that lasted about 2 1/2 days ughhh it was BAD!

I heard about this years ago and did 3-4 tablespoons of nutmeg.

Nothin pleasant about it at all. I wouldnt say I tripped, I just felt sick and out of it for hours and didnt feel normal again for days.

Not to mention it was incredibly nasty tasting if you eat that much, to this day the very taste of nutmeg in anything makes me wanna throw up.

Plus its supposed to be very toxic and bad for you, one of the worst substances out there at high doses.

yea when i cook like dessert or sumthin n the recipe calls for nutmeg i omit it i even hate the smell i was contemplating on trying it but now that people have been sayin you dont eevn trip i highly doubt ill grin and bare the taste of nutmeg but hairy llama makes a good point in getting nutmeg shavings idk that might be different

Nutmeg is a hallucinogenic and makes you sorta feel as if you smoked weed with drinking liquor and keeps you high for a long time but it has its not so fun drawbacks including gas, downright nasty burps and the worst, tempory blindness. Also it tastes pretty fucking nasty!!! It's like eating dirt. I've used once or twice when I was broke and wanted to get high until I read about people going blind for about thirty minutes and I haven't touched it since. Save your money and buy weed. If your poor, ask you friends for seeds and get to growing!!!(That's what I'm doing)
