Molasses

I'm doing my first grow, and I'm one month into veg. I don't want my plants to get very tall so I'm swtiching to 12/12 today. I saw a post about molasses for nutes in the flowering stage, combined with Pro Bloom. I was wondering how molasses effects the plants?

PS I'm using a home made aeroponics system.

molasses is pure sugar so every time you water your plants they get that sugar and your plant wont have to make it. I use it and love it. I usually give my girls 1tbl spoon of it right on top of the soil. Only use it once. dont want them to get too much.

Thanks guys, I've been doing a lot of reading on it, and from I understand so far with my dwc/aeroponics set up, it should only be used 2-3 weeks before harvesting, if at all. You soil growers get the sweet smoke and we get the speed it seems like. For my next grow I'm going to try to clone my best mother in a soil pot and try it out. I want some sweet tasting smoke too lol. For just a DWC grower not using a pump it could be more beneficial. But from I've read it clogs pumps.

I use molasses, mix it into your water till it looks like an ice tea, check out my buds what I got pics of is 3 weeks and flowering used Miracle grow plant food + pure water to veg and miracle grow transplant + molasses water alternating in flower, Molasses makes em sticky and burn better.
