Yea, hey I'm new here and I have a controversial comment. I know everyone
seems to think that one can not use CFL bulbs to grow successfully. Is this true or not?

Because I have seen plenty of pics/vids with people using CFL bulbs all the way from germination through harvesting time.

I grew one single plant for my personal use under CFL 'COOL WHITE' bulbs until i switched into the 12/12 cycle (flowering cycle). Once I switched to 12/12 I bought a Sylvania 120watt Spot-Grow light bulb for flowering.

No doubt, I agree yo I'm about a week or two from my first harvest using cfls the whole way. Real low budget ghetto ass grow, but it works and I'll be refining as I go.

Dude theres LOTS of guys on here who do cfl only grows.

You can grow under CFL, but the comon theory it that your yeild is less with CFL then HID.
