i am using a 10 gall 9 sight dwc system. with top feeders , thay feed 2 times a day. im using all advanced nuitreants. 2 part bloom , b52 , carboload , big bud , vida bost , bud blood , overdrive , scorpion, perauna , terantula , and hygrozime insted of senzime . im running one 600 w hps with a quantum ballist. im sory to say i started my 12 12 cycle 21 days ago. and i have pixs of week 2 & 3 . and i can only post after the weekend with new pixs. the first pix is 14 days , the bigger ones in the back ore purplu caugh, it is growing trycomes like mad all over . the ones in the front are purple kush, that one also is showing trycomes at 3 weeks. the one on the left is an experiment. it is a sateva caled kacy jones its the same age as the rest, but im using tap water and high nuits i started her at 1500 ppm and im pushing 2200 on the 3rd week. not shure were her max is but im gona try this for two more week then drop it down to 1500 till time to flush. unless she shows signs of burning, but she looks ok to me. that is also in a dwc system with the same feed times. i had to bend some of the branches to try and get more of it under the lamp.

when i arrived at my garden i noticed my ph level at 7.0 i quickly did a fluid change , witch lowered my ph down to 6.0 . i dont usually have ph problems , something is strange. then i noticed 3 of the 8 plants are starting to yellow starting with the large shade leafs. im thinking ph lock so im flushing with ph balanced ro water and higrozime. room temp have been staying about 78 - 82 deg my ppms were at 1850 may be a little strong? im not sure. im building a stink bud system and it wont be long, when these are finished i will switch systems.

i cant wait !

I would say your PPM's are too high....but then again if you have had your ppm above 2000 I'm shocked your plants look as good as they do in your previous pictures. What is the ppm of the water your using(that your adding your nutes to)?

im using r.o. Water and my ppms are @ 4. Without any nuits. Thay are normaly drinking up the water like crazy at this time, thay dont seem to be drinking as much. My last cycle, growing the same thing (perple kush) thay would dring about 5 gal a week.

35 days. ph problem seem to be under control, for the time being. after flushing for 7 days ph settled at 5.6 i changed out my nuits set ph at 5.6 and 1020ppm's dropt the big bud and added the overdrive. still had pretty bad yellowing but the buds are still growing , so we will see what happens in the next 21 days.

i had to remove one small branch , from one of the plants . the bud was dead and the stem was soft. i checked inside the tub and looked at the roots, some of the large roots that stay in the water have large black slimy muck on the roots. i removed as much as possible with out stressing the plant any moore.the ph was stable , but a little low 5.5 and the ppms @ 1100. i am adding moore air pumps and stones i think i need moore air in the tub. but this don't seem to bother the tricome development.

on the other hand , my test plant (kacey jones) is doing good. its starting to develop trycomes around the buds and on the leafs. im using tap water , adjusting the ph one time adding nuits and filling my res. i dont check the ph and i dont chang my nuits but every other week.it seem to be working.the first pix is the buds from my test plant. in the second pix you can see this plant on the left side, in a 5 gall bucket.

i installed a new air pump today, it's a eco air pump 70 LPM . i changed all my air stones and added a few more i have 5 , 12" and 6, 6" can u say we are rockin in the air department. no more yellowing with le leafs, so im just doing damage control. the plants are really looking good , triclomes are really getting thick.

ill have some pixs soon.

the first pix and the last is my kacy jones experiment.she is growing nicely. i toped her about 2nd week in veg and she is geting arms like a cactus. the buds were geting so hevey i had to tie them up with twine. im thinking about 4 more weeks.

im thinking about 3 more weeks for the PK. cristals are geting very hevey and stickey.

all plants are doing good, the new air pump made a big deference. all the slime is gone and the roots are turing white again.
they are drinking water like crazy, there was only 3 gallons left in the rez tub. i figure they drank about 6 - 7 gallons over the 7 days. the nice thing the one plant i thought i was going to lose is growing again,there is new growth on the buds and the tryclons are getting thick.
the strawberry cough is still my favorite, it's starting to look like velvet , fuzzy and frosty. the hairs are not white anymore, it looks look they are turning. so i started flushing with RO water and hygrozime. we will let things settle down over the week and see what happens.

not much has changed im starting to see orange hairs on the KC Jones, but the tricomes are still clear. i flushed the system with ro water and hygrozime,until finished. hopefully one more week.

i finaly finished my stealth stinkbud veg unit. it will hold 21 clones, and it fits inside my bloom box. during the winter im able to use the 400w MH and during the summer i can use the 250 w flora . the flora seems to emit less heat. bolth lamps are located inside a cool chamber , i just turn on intake and exhaust fans depending on the temps. im hoping to fill it next week,it all depends on if the halibut are biting. once i finish this cycle , i can start my flower unit, like the veg unit it also will hold 21 clones. i would like to do one grow per year, just enough to last threw the year. this is starting to cut into my fishing.

i think i must have a problem. i just finished looking at the (400w club ) pixs and @ 66 days i would think everything should be a lot biger. even when i look back at my last years pix under a 400 w hps and even those buds were biger. may be i am just expecting moor from the 600w hps . i hope when i finish my stinkbud flower system this problem will be behind me!

Looks good, nice thread!:clap: i would say if you feel heat on your hand it's too hot. I keep my light about 18 inches up, but i only run 400w out of my 800w duel system.

Also, it looks like you need a few more weeks to me. I bet if you waited 2-3 weeks they will be awsome.

thanks big puffer, this strain purple kush is 7 - 8 weeks till maturity. one of them will turn purple when finished. i grew the same strain last cycle and it finished in 9 weeks. and it was a lot biger. not shur what happened this time , maybe some bad clones dont know. the buds smell really good gust like granddaddy purple. they are really small.

i agree with u on that one , your buds look sweet. my last cycle the buds were much biger also, i was using a 400 w system, i since then picked up the 600w system and all my sh*t is small. i dont under stand ether. the last time i looked the trycoms were turning cloudy white on sum of the buds. on the strawberry cough it will turn a pinkish color when finished, i can see a few of the trics are turning amber and it still has clear and cloudy trics.
