Water Cooled Box?

Any one ever, or heard of some one, modifying a computer water cooling system to cool their box? In a pc the tubes of water attach to hot spots to run cool water over it and cool it directly... but if u had an adequate amount of tubes running in a box and on any ballasts, im sure it would work the same as in a pc, - it would have to be modded with more hose (and more water lol) but i think it would work... not sure how well, or better/efficient, it would work than current fan/ac cooling set ups... but damn i know some people get bored n try new things.. :P

Ideas?

I use to be a hard core comp modder
I think over thinking your cooling would leave to a failure that would just piss you off more than helping you....
I'd just stick to fans, your plants need the air movement anyway...

2bad we couldn't hang n brain storm.

Same here bro - been case modding for 6 years... dremels are our best friends.. lol

I'd never try to water cool my box for the same reasons you say, Id rather keep it simple... but I was still curious as to if any one else has... people do some weird things... I'm sure you've seen the computer cases made out of wood and water cooled right? Doesn't make sense... but people do it! hahaha

Yeh man, brain storming with some like-minded people is always a good thing. :)

In 2002 a japanese guy mounted a tube around his processor and cooled it with Nitrogen.... he overclocked his processor from like 1.5 to like 5.3 ghz.... which was unheard of then.... there still aren't even prcossors on the market that fast.... fuckin crazy..
