if i got raided and my dog attacked one of the drugs squad what would happen??

I agree I just never think about crack I live in nice suburbs and we don't visibly have that problem here but we do have a clear and visible problem with meth so that's why I said that one.Boy if you dont believe crack should be illegal lord help you
the drug problem is a tough one to figure out a way to handle but our currrent solution is just sad.
I don't know what is the right way to handle it, only the wrong way.

Dont get busted, i live in the uk and they dont knock, but if it happens what can you do ? just watch who you tell, like nobody youl be fine, you always get busted for 2 reasons.
No-1 you told the wrong person, ie your burd or so called best mate, what happens when your burd goes off with your best friend, they'l both fuck you over, it does happen.
No-2 people come to your house for a 5 minute visit then leave, when that happens alot, people notice, Trust me they notice. if you avoid those 2 youl be ok. Trust me i know, theirs no fool like an old fool.

it depends how bad the attack is. you should in theory have the right to protest through court if they said they had to take her away or have her put down because you presumably "have her trained as a guard dog to protect from thieves/vandals" but if they found your grow op the case would be unlikely to go in your favour. When i was a kid my dog used to try and eat the postie every week, and got him a good few times too. The council/the police tried to take him away to put him down, my da contested it by saying he's a dog and any intruder is an intruder to him so they settled for just having him neutered. Dunno if that helps but i do know that if you're breaking one law in a big way anyway, the police will just make you look like as much of a thug and danger to society as possible so they get their own way. Orwellian nightmare innit.

Using drugs should never be illegal. manufacturing addictive drugs? definitely should be illegal.
To answer the question, though, in the US they just shoot the dog - even if it isn't threatening. but that's how fucked up law enforcement is here. In the UK, if I'm understanding correctly, most officers are not armed (just a nightstick). I think there are some areas that have armed patrols, but last I heard about that was like, 8 years ago and there was a huge to-do over it so they may have done away with that.

so if someone steals a car and you knowingly buy a stolen car from him, should he go to jail but not you. your idea lacks logic. why would it not illegal to use a drug that is illegal to make solely for the purpose of doing it. all drugs are not like paint and have duel purposes.

Dont know how the UK differs from the US, but in the states the cop or another cop would likely shoot the animal if it was attacking an officer. If they didnt shoot it...it would probably be put to sleep more than likely.

IMHO a dog should never be trained to defend or attack. Bark to alarm and that is it. It should retreat to it's cage, and stay there. If it is a robber, they will leave from the barking. If it is the police or someone coming to do you harm, they will kill or hurt the dog. If you love your dog, you should think about how to protect it. Not how it should protect you. It is not a weapon! And if you want a weapon to protect you then buy one!!

Okay, I have to agree. I maintain a three dog pack and their job is to alert the ALPHA of the pack if there is trouble. I am the ALPHA. They alert me and I do my JOB of being the alpha. There is a difference between guarding and engaging. My dogs do the guarding since their smell and ears are far superior to mine. I meld their attributes to mine and together we are a team. But I lead........always. Once they alert me, they step back. Usually the intruder does as well..... 
Your dog is not going to get shot or killed here in the UK. They would have done a recce before they bust you and then using the Recce intel they plan the bust, if there is a dog present they will have a police Dog Handler at the ready with a noose, sheild and padding. He will go in first and secure or remove the dog.

LOGIC tells us that drug addicts need medical help to break their addiction, but instead of giving them help we throw them in jail. Where's the logic in that?
Drug addiction shouldn't be a crime, that's why I think drug addicts shouldn't go to jail.
People who manufacture addictive drugs should go to jail. They know they are creating problems, but they do it anyway because they don't give a shit about anyone but themselves.
An addict isn't a criminal, an addict is a sick person who needs medical help. Putting addicts in jail doesn't address the REAL problem, which is ADDICTION, not CRIME.

I agree that addicts are sick, but they aren't thrown in jail for being addicts. They are tossed there because of the crimes they commit, just like everyone else. You can't commit crimes of robbery and theft and then just get a "get out of jail free" card. Sick or healthy. Very few ppl are forced to become addicts...it's a choice made at some point by the afflicted. I sympathize with them, but committing crimes just cannot be tolerated.......for any reason.
