i am in the process of building a small (10'x5') grow room in my basement. I plan on having 1 or 2 exhaust fans in the room with duct leading outside to help prevent the smell and a little oscilating fan inside to room for air circulation. As far as fresh air into the room i am a little lost. Any suggestions?? I was thinking of a in- wall fan but this would just cause air from basement to circulate through. Is this ok or do you need actual outside air coming in??. Also is it that important to use MH during veg. and HPS during flowering or is it ok to got strictly with HPS (400W)Thanks in advance

Interesting thread, bump!

This is also relevent to me, I have a medium sized growroom im currently constructing in my garage which is kinda enclosed unless i leave the door open(not a good idea), for exhaust im going to duct it outside the top of the garage but for fresh ait intake im kinda lost so ideas recommeded products appreciated

P.S im looking for products that i dont need any electrical skills at all to install preferably plug and play :)

many thanks

You don't exactly need outside air, just fresh air exchange or if you have Co2 system you don't need fresh air at all.You can use hps all the way if you want,Hortilux has a bulb called Eye Super hps that has a broader color spectrum,25% more blue, violet, and green.

Inline fans are great for ventilation
