male hermie breeding question

I'm a clueless rookie when it comes to this stuff but as a hobby I've been working on my own strain and I think I've got the desirable characteristics I want for a male. It's nothing fancy or anything just a hindu skunk x lavender. But it's very bushy, short, kush looking plant that is quick to mature.

I was planning on doing a sort of trainwreck style breading with it by just throwing it in with a few clones of my favorite plants and see what works.

However it's throwing me a curveball. It's developing female pistils and on a couple branches look like they are springing up female flowers. (I assume stress related since it didn't get watered for quite some time)

So my question is should I throw this male out? I really like this plant. I got very few males from my hindu skunk x lavender cross and this is the only one with the desired characteristics. So I'd prefer to keep it, but I don't want to end up with some wierd mutant hermie crop from it.

What should I do?

that really sucks man, its pretty much worthless the seeds it produces will more than likely carry the tendency to hermi so id throw it out

Hmmm. Perhaps it's a tendency to hermie towards female. Try it, grow some plants from the seeds, and see how they do. If they start going hermie, get rid of the seeds and try again. It will take a good bit of time, but you could end up with some good results.
