Chiropractor...

Hi,
I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone would know a good Chiropractor in the Oakland, CA area that accepts insurance and would be willing to write me a prescription for cannabis.

I have joint problems and a bad neck and have had them for about 10 months now. I would like to legitimately get the card for this topical cream that I have heard about that contains THC.

Does anyone have a recommendation? I don't want to shell out $200 at a "pot doc" when I can go to a real doc and have insurance pay.

Thanks!

To start, Chiropractors cannot write prescriptions, they are not a medical doctor or a PA associated with a Doctor. Whereas a "pot doc" is a real doctor. Also, insurance does not cover marijuana, it is still seen as having "no medicinal purpose," so why would they cover it.
Basically, you will have to pay they money for the card if you are in an appropriate state.

Ah I didn't know that. I would like to go to a doctor who could see my problem and address it and I can schedule that appointment with my insurance and get it paid by them. I would want a doctor who is fine with alternative treatment as in mj.

Anyone know a inexpensive doctor? Preferably a lenient general practitioner? I don't really want to cash out $200 for what a regular doctor can do. Does anyone know a cheap medical evaluation? I found one here for $69, but it's in LA.

If you are getting a recommendation for cannabis

I recommend you get some one as legit as possible - if your "pot doc gets busted" you will too.
