Need help

Im a beginner and im wondering if the soil i got was good im just about to start in a little basement area just got done germinating but help me out!
its foxfarm light warrior seed starter is that good ? and wat kind of light should i use if im just trying to go by home depot or something like that..

that soil is fine from what i hear, you'll want cfls for lighting, 6500k for veg 2700k for flower......about 400w a plant should be enough for a decent yield

and i need to wrap my little closet with aluminiam foil?

use mylar or an emergency blanket if you absolutely must. but mylar is the way to go. or paint the walls flat white
