Im a beginner and im wondering if the soil i got was good im just about to start in a little basement area just got done germinating but help me out!
its foxfarm light warrior seed starter is that good ? and wat kind of light should i use if im just trying to go by home depot or something like that..

I can tell u what not to buy, no time release miracle grow soil. for a light at homedepo I went with four foot fluorescents shop lights with full blue spectrum(agrosun). you get the spectrum at a hydro store.

thanks and one more quick question if i already started one its been germinated and planted but i have been an dumb ass and was using a halagon light for about three days is it toast? it hasn't srouted shit yet!

i have had seedlings that stayed seedlings for 4 to 5 months. using an arogarden two out off five started to grow the rest stayed seedlings. the biggest one died(i found out that it was root rot). as soon as the big one was taken out the others started to grow. One got split at the top and grow like that, all the right side veg was only growing on the right side, left on left. it turned out to be a male but it was cool looking.I would wait n see what happens. i would give it Intel she totaly dies.
i found it best to germ seeds in a dome on the refrigerator(warm), it was pretty fast rooting. just an ideal. if you start cloning it will take 2/3 of the time to get buds. u buy pass the seedling stage. clone, 30 days later your buding
