this is my first grow, im growing hydro and my seedlings do not look like there doing super well. They look to be getting weaker or somehting. Heres a few pictures from my phone. Goodlooking:peace:
 Wow!!!! what kind of lights are you using? Get them much closer to the plants they are stretching out for light. Very soon they will become top heavy and fall over and wont be able to get light and die. If they do just tie them to something:joint:

I grow hydro has well but a tip for the future keep the clones in the cubes in a propagator till they are a little older.Get them under cfl's or flouresents get the lights realy close that way they won't end up leggy.Use kabab sticks to tie the clones up.But if it was me i would take them out of there units and get them under cfl's the 150 low energy ones or a cople of flouresents for a couple of weeks.

Had the same problem.

BURY THEM ASAP.

Get the lights right up to them

your lights are too far away and they're stretching towards it. They're about to break the stems and fall on the side

Yep, get them some support so they dont fall over and get them deeper.I would get them some T5's with 6500K Bulbs, they help build strong roots and you can get them really close to the seedlings.

What I did was mix some soil with hydroton and build support around the stems, instead of burying them further down

Either way as soon as the sprouts give their first real leaves, they will fall over

I'm no expert, but with the exception of "...noname6.jpg", but to me, they still look like they're a little stretchy. What kind of lights are you using and wattage???

u need to get a small 4 inch fan for air cirriculation it will make stems strong and drop the lights down about 3-4 inches away from them
bubba kush homie :leaf:bongsmilie:leaf:

HAHA, aww.. poor seedlings. i planted a couple seeds under grow lights just for the hell of it and they look like that too, long and stretchy with a thin weak stem.
you need to move the lights closer to your plants, i believe.. because my lights are far away because i have snapdragons growing with them also that are very tall already. and bury some of the stem.

hey midnight... should the light really b that close with the amount of heat from those bulbs? Just asking, cuz i have no experience with either of those bulbs, but from what i hear, they're pretty hot, and 3-4 inches seems kinda close.

Anyone else know?
