Oh, my bad...2nd set...

The first set are called cotyledons. They are rounded and don't have the same appearance as the rest. He means the ones you would recognize as a weed leaf.

so you cut after 5-6 nodes are made then u cut it at the 2nd?im kinda confused about that..i think i might have read it wrong tho

also i checked on the plant in dirt and it was starting to get a little root bound at the bottom (kinda surprised me actually) so i transplanted into a 3 gallon pot
also i took some new pics..ill put them up later when i get a minute

hopefully ill b gettin a couple more cfls till they go outside so they can get some more light, right now i only have 3 14w cfls

i posted a thread with this ? but nobody answered my question fully i was wondering if anyone on here knew
i was wondering out of these 3 fertilizers would be best for veg.
30-10-10- this is an acidic plus MG
15-30-15-all purpose MG
12-4-8-all purpose MG

the 2 people that replied said the 30-10-10 do you know if the acidity plus will affect the ph of the soil and potentially harm the plants?

12-4-8 for veg. 15-30-15 for flower.

But I'm sure you can get something besides MG.

Lookup blue mountain organics on ebay. Cheap and effective.

Yes, you let them get up a bit and gain some root strength, then you cut them back. You will get enough base after to support the multiple colas. if you cut right after the 2nd node appears, the base will fold later.

cracker do you think that i should give my plant that im topping a couple days to get past the transplant then top or does it not matter?

If your transplant goes well and simply, I wouldn't worry. Topping always promotes root growth, so having transplanted will be a plus. That's why you won't see any top action after the cut. She will be growing roots.
