I need a Plan for this wood!

Hi,

I have 2 sheets of 2400x1200mm ply wood at 12mm thick plus I have 5 pieces of 41x41mm at 1800mm high which I had planned for the frame.

I then realized if I make a frame it might need to be lined inside the frame with more timber.

What do you think would be the best size to build this with the wood I have?

I will be using 2 x 48 watt cfl cool lights + 1 48 watt natural cfl. I will be growing about 3 plants.

I'm not that great at building so that is why I'm a little confused on how to approach this.

i know this isnt anwserin ur question but ur prob gonna need more bulbs than that ...and remember that daylight cfls are 6500k bulbs and they are best for veg and soft or cool white bulbs are 2700k and are made for flowering...while mixing spectrums is good....i practice it...u still need to make sure u have more of the correct color spectrum bulb for the stage ur in...and id say 4 bulbs to a plant is almost a necessity IMO...but on the building thing...i suck at building too. i took 3 pieces of wood and stood them together to make a box to put my mylar on lol....its ghetto rigged but it works...others on here might have more input for u tho.

Yes I'm in the veg stage now and I'm hoping these were enough for that but you might have a good point and I should look into getting hold of more lights especially once they grow a bit as I read they need lights all around in CFL growing.

I'm going to start a new diary thread now with more info on my setup plus some pictures....

You could always just build a wood frame and line it with Mylar/Panda film and basically make your own grow tent. That would eliminate a lot of the building process, just need the frame.
