This is my first time growing and I've got ten lovely ladies growing outdoor here in the pacific northwest. Could any of you pro's out there take a look and tell me if these are indeed female, they look like it from the pics I have seen but I just want to know, all 10 look like the ones I attatched pics of. Thanks folks.... :wall:

p.s. if these pics aren't good enough I have more...

Hey bro...well send some other pics if you can but too early to tell. The hairs or balls will show between that long leaf and the shoot growing.

you will start to see either little round pods that look like grape seeds or pods with little white hairs growing out of them...or the very top cola will be riddled with them too...yours unfortunatly is to early to tell...

false info. summer solstice was on the 21st meaning the 21st was the longest day of the year. the days are now getting shorter by a few seconds everyday. preflowers usually show regardless of the light schedule but more on a time schedule. they show when they are mature enough. and the amount of time when they reach that mature point really depends on the strain. i have a indica/sativa that showed female preflowers on its 5th week of outdoor vegging and an indica that showed at about 7-8 weeks vegging. just be patient and they will show their little hairs or a small cluster of balls. also i too grow in the pac.nor.we area

ok, so your plants enter flowering when they show their pre-flowers? um, WRONG! you are right though its getting shorter days now, i forgot the 21st was summer solstice. so yeah it should be starting to flower soon.

i never said the plants enters flowering when they show preflowers. if thats how it sounded i meant preflowers show when the plant is ready to show them but now that i have reread my post i didnt even mention flowering. plants flower when they sense the days getting shorter which can vary depending on your strain and location of grow becuase light cycles are different everywhere. for example alaska is the land of the midnight sun, their days are longer in the summer then lets say hawaii where they have almost/about 12hours day and 12 hours night all year long. i estimate mine begin to flower in mid to late august.
