It all depends on the strain, but in General Most Indica's 7-8 weeks and most Sativa's more around 12 weeks. But, every strain has it's own time.. That is why it is so important to watch your trichromes.

i would use the recommended flower time as a general rule of thumb, but would not stick to it. each plant is different. and each strain has multiple phenos that could be more sativa or indica dominant, therefore changing flower times. also lighting,stress and many other factors play into flowering time. use a scope to check out trichs, or some other method to determine when each of your plants are ready.
Hey guys... sorry if I sound stupid, but I didn't know this for the longest time. When the websites say 10 weeks, or 8-9 weeks, whatever... they are talking about the time your plant first shows flowers.... NOT when you switch the light to 12/12.
