First time grow setup - please advise

So I've been looking into growing as the start of a new hobby (i like smoking pot, why not learn how to grow it amirite?) and need some advice from all the pros. If anything I understand the general concept of growing and what needs to be done, but I'm somewhat close to figuring out what I need to set this up. I'm looking into a stealth grow in my closet, this will be achieved by growing in a homebox L. Here's what I'm looking into:

As far as pricing goes, I'd rather not skimp on any components only having to upgrade to something better.

Well, I think you came to the right place! There are guys/gals on here that could do a show and grow on the moon. First your going to have to get with the program if you want help. Details, details, where do you live,( not the address), house, parents,apartment. First floor, 2nd floor, attic. basement, bedroom, shed? What are the dimensions of the area? what is the environment like? What is your experience level. And is could be with just plants, tomato, house, roses, peppers. Got a green thumb? The fan and filter combo sound good, but the light might be too big for the space? Follow me camera guy? Earl has some great DIY projects, as so do many,many others. You might want to go hempy, DaGambler has got it going on. So step back, take some measurements, Look how your goin to supply electric,water,fresh air, and how your gonna exhaust the stale, hot air? Get back with more details, and I'm sure that you will be flooded with with responses.

thanks for the advice. my experience level is total beginner, ive planted stuff but that was when i was 7 for a science project. also the grow will be maintained in a grow tent hidden in a closet, so measurements wouldnt be needed im assuming. also ill be using negative pressure for airflow - basically having the carbon filter attach through one end, while the fan pulls the hot air out at the opposite end.
