High Prof. help needed

Hi just started an opp and encountered a few issues i think i need to address before it becomes to late. I am in an attic for the project and found out there is no outlet up there so i must run an extension cord through the stairwell but there is no outlet at the bottom as well. I have it running through a decent part of the house to get to my room. Was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and if there is a way to possibly run the line through my window up to a window in the attic. Maybe some sort of a covering covering could be adapted so it looked less conspicuous on the outside?

Also I am worried about temperature as well. Probably already been posted but anyone recommend any sort of fan or something to keep the attic cool? The windows are about 1 1/2' long by 1' wide? Would like to purchase locally.....

Get a rubber cylinder (what ever the length of your wire outside) and just cut it in half so it only covers to the wall, and buy an RVK fan if you want a professional cooling fan.

An example

How big is you grow room going to be and what kind of light will you be using ? depending on how much energy you'll be using you should really wire a new line up there or 2... I have an attic grow and you should really make an insulated room. Here are some pics. its 4'x9' room at the base
this is what it looked like before

this is the insulation I did

this is a ac vent that i rerouted to the room

This is the room just before it was done

Also notice that I have a water line up there and I now have a door up and everything else setup but don't have pics of that. I found it best to run my lights at night so the temps stay cooler but make sure your room is light proof and I have an air cooled light to also help with temps. Here is another attic grow that may help you a bit. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/151523-my-attic-grow-room-construction.html
hope this helps :peace:

I would seriously consider your heat exposure for nosey helicopter cops. Is your grow legal? You don't say what state you are from.

Any way i could cut the budget and just setup some Mylar? I have no experience with insulation but i have the motivation if i could get my foot out the door. I was thinking fans at every window would do the trick.....guess i am wrong on that? With an exhaust fan with a carbon filter running out the back. I have a 600 watter with an hps goin up there so my heat is probably up there......need to start keeping track but im just sprouting so i just started basically.

can you take pics? and you said you have the 600 watter going up there do you already have the light ? If so do a dry run up there for a few days and take temp readings under your light. you say you have windows up there so is it a finished off attic like another room or something ? its really hard to give advise when I can't see what it looks like.

If you're going to end up with cords all over the place, better wire a new outlet. You don't need to be a grow expert call that shot, no offense. I'd be scared leaving to work everyday running long lines of extentsion cords thru the house, wondering if someday I'll see a plume of smoke in the distance, finding out its my house burning down.
