I'll stick with evolution and eat meat.....
Sorry, I was talking about the lamb racks. I usually keep a dozen of the Newburg in the freezer shipped direct from Maine, but I also make home made when I come across some plump lobsters. It's a snap to make.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
- 2 cups cooked lobster meat, about 2 small lobsters
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 3 tablespoons dry sherry
- 3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 1 cup half-and-half
- buttered toast or pastry shells
- 1 clove of garlic (minced)
In a medium saucepan over low heat, heat lobster in the butter and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes. Add salt, cayenne pepper, brandy and sherry. Mix beaten egg yolks with the half-and-half and add to lobster. Cook, stirring constantly, until lobster newburg is thickened and heated through, but do not bring to a boil. Serve lobster newburg over buttered toast or pastry shells. Lobster Newburg recipe serves 4.
here's the recipe I use, but I will also add some Brandy to it as well. 3 Tablespoons worth.

Two amazing meals you will only find in the great state of Alabama.....
Milos Hamburgers---Best fast food burger, best fries, and absolute BET Sweet tea you will find on the earth....Burger is covered with their secret sauce, fries are also dipped in them...ummmmmmm
Dreamlands BBQ--- Best ribs in the south bar none, hands down without a doubt.....their sauce is out of this world, great banana pudding, and white bread to dip their heavenly sauce in....amazing
You probably did see it on the Food Network...it gets a ton of publicity around the nation...If you have ever seen an Alabama football game on ESPN they almost always have a segment on it. Seriously, if you are ever in the state, I reccommend Milos for lunch and Dreamlands for dinner....impossible to come away hungry or unsatifiedi think i saw somethin about that dreamland barbque on the food network... or maybe it was somethin different.
milos looks good!!!!

There is a small chain of both....but they are all located in Alabama. There are 2 Dreamlands in Tuscaloosa, and one in Birmingham. The original one in Tuscaloosa is by far the best one, because their grill is sooo old. As for Milos, there are alot scattered around Birmingham, one in Tuscaloosa, and a few more scattered over the state. I know you can have Dreamlands shipped to you anywhere in the country (website says they are shipped fully cooked with heating instructions) by ordering from their website, but I have never done this before. If you are a big fan of BBQing, I would order some of their sauce if nothing else, because it goes well on any BBQso is there a chain of milos and dreamlands or is there just 1?
wow... yea im definately goin to go there... might take some years but i have a list of awesome resturaunts around the US that i plan on tryin out! like one big RV trip... just for food haahaaThere is a small chain of both....but they are all located in Alabama.
