whats wrong with these plants

those are 12 in tall trying a s.o.g style . and i trimmed off lower growth b4 i started to flower , lolipoping .im also using 4x4 tables and 6in round pots . ok ok 49 plants per table seems alot id like to grow less can i get some opinions here on plant numbers and what correct pot size to use ? k back to my problem . they are 1 in cubes planted well above flood line . what can i do to fix overwater? thanks for the replies guys these are pics of my last run , wast the greatest but i got enogh smoke . plants wer tiny . this prompt me to grow bigger and trim off lil growth . i would like to achive 1 lb from a 1000w light

I start w/ 21 clones on 1-4x4 table and 1-1000 metal halide. This time I veg'd for a month to get the girls a bit bigger before switching. I did run 2- 4x4 tables and like you was looking for a way to lower plant numbers and raise production #'s. I am a provider for myself and 3 other patients but, still want to keep my numbers below legal limits. Flowering, I now run 1- 4x4 table w/ 1000 HPS and 9 plants. I also use ebb 'n' grow buckets w/ contoller. I ran 12 buckets this time (6 - plants per 1000 HPS) w/ option to add as many as 24. I also add 2- 600 HPS at 3 -weeks into flower to add a little extra girth for the ladies (it's all about the girth)
My last harvest I got 4 lbs. We are looking to surpass that this time. I also added 1/10 chillers (1 ea.) to the 40 gal and 55 gal rez's. The chillers were on back order for about three weeks and as soon as I got the temps down to 65 degree's the girls were loving it. Last year I ran w/ out chiller's for the first 2 months of summer and then just shut it down due to high water temps, root rot, bugs and mildew. This summer I'm running the chillers and it's like running in winter months. Anyway, sorry for the long reply. Hit me up if you have any ???'s I like exchanging info w/ starving minds who want to know every little advantage to growing medicine.

well ive got clones on standby and im about to just scrap these ones and take a loss. and re-start with 16plants in 6 in round pots per 4x4 table. im looking to achive 1 lb from a 1000w light . free smoke for a yr. does that sound good enough? any suggestions?

hey diesel nice picks , i am too looking to add a chiller but im on a budget for now , do i need to buy a pump to go with it ? ive been looking at one from progressivegrowth.com . if i buy a chiller i may have to buy 1 huge res because currently im using 2 reses for 2 4x4 tables.

I also used to run 2-4x4's.
Pumps are extra. 1 pump is needed for each rez return. I paid 25 bucks for each. If I were you I would switch to 1 rez. Maybe a 55 gal. w/ contoller would run you about $200. You can also use the drum and controller for when you switch to ebb 'n' grow pots (hehe). A larger under table rez. is cumbersome and takes up a lot of valuable space. I know you are on budget right now but, things are gonna change I can feel it. How bad are the little one's. They can take some abuse when little and still come out ok. I like to keep them in veg till good and healthy and then switch light off. Have you flushed w/ straight h2o? I use R/O myself. You have to make up for the mag deficiency w/ epsom salt or something else, I would'nt run hydro w/out r/o.

ya im running r/o im a noob to this , no epsom salts i flushed for 1wk with 100ppm nute/water . the shitty thing is im in wk one of flower. light comeon in afew hrs i will then decide to scrap plus i want to buy a chiller anyway and 80 gal res . is 80 gal too much for 2 4x4's with 32 large plants ? im only ona budget if i can get by without . you saying u had water temp probs is prompting me to get a chiller ive been wanting one anyway .lol .. thanks for the reply

You should be able to get by w/ chilling 1 40 gal rez. and sharing w/ 2 tables. You'll need 2 pumps for ea. table. You'll have to change the water every week not 2. Unless your transpiration rate (water uptake) is such that your adding 5 gal. every other day or so then I would say 2 week changes. Epsom is a must have with r/o. I know shops will sell you cal/mag or something but, Shops will also sell you air to breath if your willing to but it. I'm pretty sure most chillers require return pumps in rez. I got mine for $355 + $25 for pump from my local guy (that's w/ frequent flier miles) that I do a lot of transactions with. I try to stay out of the shops but, some things you just have to do. The chiller is a must have. I can't stress it enough. You'll prob. get some guys saying add frozen water bottles to rez. That does'nt work for long w/ big rez's and pumps working. I've noticed a lot of bad info on this site in particular. Not that I'm a guru of ganja or anything.

Before you pull anything check your options. The pics you showed did not look that bad.

i recently built a hydroponic system using a 15 gallon fish tank. i used connoisseur a&b as well as sweet leaf and nivarna from advanced nutrients. plant is withering bad. plant is 2 feet and 2 weeks into flowering. i was transfered them from a small aerogarden. any help would be highly appreciated. btw i used lava rocks as my medium.
