Sound info brotha! I looked into some pred. mites but I don't think the $55 for 2000 is worth it for as little time as I have left. I will probably get some neem oil and bug traps. You said you put the sticky trap right on the grill of the fan?get some neem oil and spray them it dries the fuckers out and keeps them from reproducing...for future refrences i always spray that shit all over the floor area as well as around the pots I also get one of those yellow bug away thingies and hook it to my fan...it keeps every bug but fungus nats away I promise
Thank you very much! The weight is going to be light due to a lot of things I didn't do as well as I could have... But the quality of these genetics is so apparent. I cut down 2 brown indicas yesterday... they didn't yeild much but the bud is frosty and skunky sweet!sounds good buddy...that sounds like that will work out...but for the record you still had a hell of a grow.
Too kind Yeti... as far as advice man besides the usual checking ppm, tds, flushing res, etc., the 14 pots that come with the TG are small... don't grow from seed in these pots, I would only put rooted clones in them. They got pretty root bound in mine. If you aren't growing 14 plants, I would get some bigger pots no doubt.Hey Ridin, so what kind of advice would you give a beginner tg user? between you and I, you are now the pro! please help out the rookie, thanks yeti.
Well the tray is 2 feet wide and 3 feet long so you have some room to play with. Your best bet would be to go to your local hydro shop and check out there pots in a turbogarden to get exactly what you need, cause it does have the drain fittings and the little res door notch. The bigger the better though, don't use the small ones. I really just used these because these plants were just the plants I didn't choose for the mother and I got a little careless, the hydroton didn't block all the light and air. If the pots are a lot taller than the tray, choose a medium that wicks moisture, a good soilless mix or rockwool. If they are just a little above, you'll be fine with hydroton. Thanks for the in-fo Ridin, your grow's looking fine!!! no I'm not planning on doing 14, wont work in the area I have to work with, thinking of trying for 6! now with that being said, what size pots would you recomend? and if the replacement pots are taller then the pots it comes with will that be a problem?? thanks for your help man.
Probably your best bet man. I would also look into a drip kit for that. 6 hoses would be easy to maintain and would water the roots a little better. All you would need is a fitting/splitter for the flood fitting and the 1/4 hose. Thanks Ridin, what do you think about 8x8x8 inch pots, will this work?
No new pics yet, that will come . My flowering room is being totally redone.thanks man, so you don't thinks the 8x8x8 pots will be to tall? also I want to stay with ebb and flo, its a little easier to work with, so I've been told anyway? also what do you think would be better the soil it comes with or hydroton?? again thanks for the in-fo my new friend. oh yea, more pics of your ladies please!!!!!!!! talk with ya next time. yeti
Basically, the tray floods about 4-5 inches. So if you want to use the balls, make sure that the pots get almost all flooded. On the opposite end of the spectrum, rockwool, you would flood about one inch. I would recommend those 8 inchers with soiless mix for sure. But thats just my take.not what I wanted to hear but then again better to know about it now than after, thanks again man! so are you thinking that 8 inch pots would be to tall?well I found some new pots size is 6.5 inches wide and 7 inch's tall, do you think these will work with hydroton or not?? I would really like to use the hydroton balls instead of the soilless stuff! but still open minded to both? getting ready to start it up in the next 2 weeks, thanks for your help Ridin.
