My Setup, Need Advice

I'v got:

600watt HPS/MH system but prduces alot of heat
Miracle Grow Organic but I think Ill enjoy FoxFarm soil next
3 2 gallon plastic round pots
Perlite which I mixed in
A standard closet thats about 3 in a half ft wide and 2 in a half ft deep in.
Origional Tap water unless I buy distilled water

That is all I have
I also have an oscillating fan which blows cool air and Im thinkin about getting mylar for the walls and plastic for the floor.

But what am I missing????? Iv tried to grow but my plant was burning and older leaves just shriveled up and died. It was quite hot in that closet, you can get a suntan under the light. Id say it was about 7 ft away from the plant in its seedling form. But it slowely started to overkill burn. Iv been told it was because I need a an exaust for ventilation or a whole new light. What do I do and what am I not looking into??????

what kind of mircal soil is it..the stuff with the slow release ferts..if it is trash it....could be another reason your plant died...explain your grow room more to me..so i can understand what you might need..

On my link below I have everylittle thing I use on a list. My advice is get rid of the Miracle Grow. That stuff is pure crap designed for yards.

Get rid of the MG soil, buy an exhaust fan, make the intake holes into the closet about twice the overall size of the exhaust. I.E. if you have a 4 inch hole thats hooked to your exhaust fan, cut 2 4 Inch holes for a passive intake. Remember they are living things, they have to breathe. How hard would it be for you to breathe if you were in there, under the light for ohh say....16 hours... Good luck and keep trying..
