Thought she was ready to flush...then(pics!!)

Hey guys!! Posted this also on Harvesting Forum, but need some opinions! Was going to start flush, then she started new growth on the very top of a few cola's!! Trichs are mostly cloudy, very few amber. What do the experts think??

The last 2 weeks they really spring into action. If the trichs are cloudy I would flush but I would double flush. Flush 3 x the amount of container , wait 20 mins and flush again but this time add 2tbls Blackstrap Molases. And keep useing it till harvest. Make sure you also give water/molases within 24 hrs of harvest and harvest just before lights on.

I am having same problem with my topped clone, it looks like 2 massive colas but at a closer look all the lower buds were more than done and in fact dieing off... the huge top/ new growth will not be done for a few more weeks, i trimmed off the dieng buds and am letting the tops keep growing

Are you looking at trichs on the Buds? I hope so and not the leafs, leafs trichs do not count. You can make butter with leaf trichs though.

To shed a little light on everyone, amber trichs start to form within the first 3 weeks of flower so you cant go off of colrs of trichs.

Really, your gonna take what he says as WORD? LOL too freaking funny.
I advise both of you to look up (google or whatever) the life cycle of a trich. Can't hurt, but will do you both some good.

No thats very false thats only a guide to let you know when shes close. There is a harvesting early STICKY thread by fdd2blk and its like 5 pages long I would like to have you read that so that you know what the fuck is really going on. If I knew how to send a link to thread I would. The thread is under harvesting and curing and It will be the first thread you come to and it will be a STICKY thread. Read that and the guy that told me on your other thread that I was way off, He must have bumped his head. READ THAT WHOLE THREAD ITS SO GOOD.

I was talking to Golden at the end of that. It can possibly be the strain too you dont ever know unless you have definate strains, the cold could have done it too lots of diff X factors I cant pin point but like Isaid watch the new growth next time it slows alot flush her and chop. Thats what I would do with unknown bagseed.

Resin gland color, potency, and type of high

Gland color will vary with ripeness of the individual THC glands, starting at clear, turning to milky, then turning to an amber color. There may be some exceptions, such as some of the Blue strains and Blackberry. These will have darker, sometimes purple gland heads. But by far and large, these three steps of ripeness will exist with the vast majority of strains on the market. The first stage, clear, will tend to make for a more cerebral, up high, with very little body effect. Harvesting at this stage when little if any trichomes are milky yet, can be tricky. Harvesting too early can make for a beautiful plant that will not have much psychoactive capability! THC needs to "mature" to be able to pass its psychoactive capabilities down to the smoker. This is why I always recommend waiting until 50% of the trichomes hit the second stage: milky or creamy. At this point, you will definitely have a plant which has reached its genetic potential.

The milky trichomes have some "cerebral" qualities, as well as some of the more "physical" characteristics of the high. The last stage, amber, brings on a more sedative, physical stone. If this is what you're looking for, than I would recommend a sativa/indica cross, or an indica dominant plant. Amber trichomes seem to ruin a sativa high if the plant goes too long.
