First Grow, Cheap Set-Up

It's almost week 4 and my babies are doing fairly well. One of them looks like complete crap and have no idea why but I will post some pics in the next couple of days to show everyone.

i have the egzact same light as you ..with the same conditions..it was free lol i have 2 under it and they have been flowering for about 7 weeks now and they did show sex roughly about two weeks after i switched it to 12/12....but anyways both plants are about 20" tall and it looks like ill get a little more then a half o off each..hope this helps

hell yea man, finally some input! Well that's good to hear! Mine are still very small and ive been doing 12/12 from beginning. But hey if I got a half O off each one that'd be amazing, i was hoping for a half o between 4 plants cause of the lighting.

Yea these lights actually work decent i find...the 32 watt natural sunshine bulbs from home depot work farely well just make sure the light is no more then 3-4 inches or so from the light except if the bulbs you have produce heat becouse you might burn them (the natural sunshine bulbs dont really get hot) also if i were you i would switch your hours from 12/12 to 18/6 for 4/5 weeks,get some size to them then lay on the 12/12 they will flower...and maybey preform some sort of LST to make sure when it does flower the light is close to the buds all the way down..other wise if its straight up the cola wil be the only good bud with the rest popcorn buds from not having enough light..

I just got the cool bulbs on it cause I found them in my garage haha. But I don't think i'll be able to start vegging them now, I will only be in this house for like another 2 months so that's why I put them on 12/12 from seed, to get the soonest possible flower. But im about to upload some pictures, they are looking a lot better then I actually was expecting. Another thing, im really not super worried about yield, I kinda wanted this as a practice for my good grow once I get my stealth box mande! When I get money of course...

Well here it is: Week number 4 from seed in the soil with barely any germination. Id say about 3 weeks from being sprouted. I am actually happy about how far they have come. I am just going to pray they start all showing white hairs soon . Anyways, as you can see, one of them looks like it has down syndrome, and no idea why. Maybe the miracle grow burned the roots? Heat stress? I dont really know because ive treated all four plants the exact same way. Actually, the plants were in those jiffy pots that you can put straight in the soil, so that's good news for others that want easy transplanting. Welp, for now I guess ill go find some more pot, and get high with me and my dog, (she loves getting high, usually runs away when she hates something, but for pot, she runs up and wags her tail, then goes downstairs, barks at nothing, and then comes make me pet her).

i see your situation lol...well then i guess it remains a mystery on how much you will get. suprise is always nice tho and as for that plant it just looks like some sort of mutation i dont think your doing anything wrong just watch how it grows!

Haha alrighty! yea I guess ill see how it does. I wonder how long until this lil babies show their sex. Im hoping soon, but they are pretty small still.

So I just got done spraying some water on my plants and wanted to take some pictures to show everyone what my babies look like so far. It's almost week # 5. I know they are small, but I hope they show sex soon. It's been 5 weeks from seed. I know the light is crappy, but would that cause them not to flower maybe? They have been on 12/12 for 4 weeks. Anyways, they are doing good, except for my deformed one. It looks as if it has two main shoots. I hope it turns out female because even though it's all fucked up looking, I still love it. Anyways, all input is appreciated, please tell me what you guys think.

Here it is: Week Number 5. They still haven't shown any sign of sex, but that's okay. I am going to add blackstrap molasses to the water the next time I water, which will be in roughly a week. Anyone that wants to give me some feed back, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well today I found another shoplight So I went and bought a pair of warm bulbs to mix in with the cool whites. I put a warm in each ballast. I also got some cardboard with tin foil and set that up. I changed where the lights are and hopefully the extra light will make a difference. Here are some pics of the new set up. What do you guys think?
