My attempt at a SCROG 09

Just got my 4 magics and 2 afgoos in their grow bags. I would've rathered them been in holes but that wasn't really an option in this spot. I watered them with SPT two days ago and again today to help reduce shock.
I haven't put my screen up quite yet though. still adjusting the size of the screen to the space I'm working with. for my screen, I'm using a single round deer fence you see around trees that's about 4ft tall and after I cut it lenth wise, the screen was about 6.5ft long. and for protection from the deer and other animals in the area, I put up a bird net that canopy's the whole area.
in the picture, the 2 farthest plants are the afgoo and the rest are the magic.
enjoy :bigjoint:

an even canopy of buds at harvest
Not saying that it's a bad idea or anything, just never heard of anybody doing it.
I would think that since your working with the sun you would get plenty of penetration to the entire plant, unlike an indoor grow where you cant get adequate light to the lower branches to produce decent bud. Just thinking you would get a better harvest by growing the plant out, rather than blocking out the light to half the plant.
Anyway, good luck with that.

i remove no lower branches. place the net over them now and start weaving the branches thru it.

when do you stop weaving under the new growth? when it starts to flower or way before?

lol no way. it looks like you topped it then weaved the two tops opposite directions of one another.
what about your yield when you scrog? is it noticeably heavier than a nonscrogged lady?

lol well hella elbows is always the goal. I'm just wondering if you could tell a difference between your scrogged plants' yield and your nonscrogged plants?
