I take a look in the flower tent and only ONE light is on and the other is off. Ok so maybe the handyman knocked a cord loose while making a stealthy window box (with intake and exhaust vents). Like computers .... start with checking the cables. NO such luck. It is the REPLACEMENT for the digital that died. NOW THIS ONE DIES!!! :hump:

No one is around to help my lug that heavy ass piece out and to the car. So bad back and all I carry it out.

Tool down the freeway and replace the ballast. The replacement for the digital will be here this week. Some BS hang up in Customs.

So I am now going to get roaring high and see if the tear bringing pain will stop. I knew I shouldn't have lifted and carried it. I knew I would hurt after. As in real life .... my ladies come first. Except I have 2 X-wifes and am now a happy confirmed bachelor.

The new humidifier is pulling about 40 pints a day out of the flower tent. I empty it twice a day. The humidity stays right at 40 percent with it.

I hope that everyone is having a better day than I am.
Some days your the bug, some days the windshield.:hump:

Man, Orzz, that's horrible to hear. Bad spate of luck that will soon end with your new green girlfriends' heads getting chopped off, I'm sure. :D

That humidifier sounds like it's doing its effing job. I've not had such good luck in the past and stick with the AC/dehumid. combo to ease my summertime woes. Good luck bringing that other light back online. :peace:

Well life looks better after meditation and a smoke :joint:

Thanks for the kind words LB and OF. May your kindness be returned to you 10 fold!

I looked in on everyone. Hand water the 3 mothers. The cloner is still full. lol. Oh well ... I won't have to put them in veg after 3 wks in the cloner.

I am hoping to get the 4 inch fan going in the veg room tomorrow. It is way too hot in there.

I see the similarities in the way I treat women. I push it 'em to the limits. Much safer being a bachelor, cause like Old Frog says " Bad spate of luck that will soon end with your new green girlfriends' heads getting chopped off, I'm sure."
Sounds so Maria Antoinette!

NOT AGAIN! I woke up early (I take 75mg Morphine every 8 hours, was on 8 am start time now am starting at 6 am) and the same light that was out yesterday was out again. HMMMMM. It was arcing but not firing. Unplugged it and took it out of the timer and waited 10 minutes, I had both lights on one timer. I plugged the light directly into the wall socket and presto .... light back on. I am going to run individual timers like I used to. It had been working fine on a single timer till now.

I read through brick's electrical thread and didn't find an answer. So I will just try the 2 solo timers and see what happens.

The flower tent is filling up nicely with nuggets.
Pics .....

Yea it was a voltage drop. Since doing a staggered start of the lamps I have not had a problem. Reading about climate controllers there was mention of staggered start times. So problem solved .... so far

I have finished getting the venting and ducting set up. Ducts for both tents now exhaust directly outside through panels put up in the window frames. The room with the veg tent is now liveable again.

The ladies are flowering and are drinking like an Irishman on holiday or any day for that matter. lol. No haters please. I am 100% Irish so I can tell jokes. Better than most I must say. rofl Ok enough amusing myself.

For those of you used to reading good threads such as
Harvest
Hydroponics Questions
Plant moisture stress
or
NOR CAL MEDICAL

I apologize for this thread. I don't post much helpful info. I know more info on nutes and the numbers for time, temp, ppm, pH, Nutes, RH but I am busy enough just getting the tents and rooms working.

I am having fun. :spew:
May others enjoy the madness also.

I have had the electrician :hump: over and another room is almost ready for a another tent. Need to get the dechlorinater/sediment filter installed and then it will be ready to fit a tent in.

Some pictures for you and a shot of the nute bookcase.

Thanks for stopping by Shipinit. I have 2 600 watt HPS bulbs in the 8x4x7 flowering tent. The electrician has rewired another room so I will be putting in another 8x4x7 tent for flowering. I will then have 4 4x4 trays each under a 600 watt HPS. FINALLY perputual SOG! Now all I need is to be able to get two new digital ballasts. My replacement and the rest of them are still hung up in U.S. Customs.

I have not taken the clones out of the cloner nor have I done much with the ladies in the veg tent. My poor gals are not taken care of, they NEED to go into FLOWER! Waiting on supplies ..... arghhhh.

Any way here are some shots of the overcrowded veg tent and the new venting for it.

Wow, must be on the same wavelength as that is what I have settled on, 4 tables w/600w for each.....just seems the smartest way to go for what I need. Are you going to be using multiple rez's for the tables or one large one?

I am going to run a rez for every tray. My flower tent now only has one and it will get a revision after this flip.

The 600's just make sense. I would like to try a 1000 watter but am afraid of the temps being to high. And the way I let my ladies grow a bit too tall I could use the extra headspace for them.

May everyone have a peaceful wknd!:peace:

The digital ballasts are finally here. Going down to get them later.

I will also be getting another flower tent, exact setup almost as the old one except this time I am using 2 rezs.

I hope to have it set up by tonight. Then again ..... it will happen when it happens.

Well today was a semi productive day.
My faulty digital ballast finally got replaced. Got most of the equipment to set up another flower tent.

  • 2 3x3 flood trays
  • 2 600 digital ballasts
  • 4 6 inch fans - EcoPlus - 2 supreme and 2 original
  • 2 rez pumps and fittings and hoses
  • SunHut XXXL 4x8x7 tent
  • 4 outlet pump with airstones
  • 4 yo-yos
  • 3 600 watt SLI HPS bulbs - 1 as a spare
  • carbon exhaust filter
Had to order the following (be here Tues)

  • 2 sun shields and insulated ducting
  • 2 Cool Sun Reflectors
  • 2 30 gallon rezs with lids
  • 6 in Hepa Filter
Decided to use the smaller trays and have some room in the tent. It also might help me to get the clones into veg faster and to also keep them smaller.

Well here I am at the hydro store and in walks ...... Mr. Ed R.
Amazing the people one runs into. I now have a nicely autographed book of his.

After all this excitement I get home, smoke some and crash on the couch. So much for setting the tent up today, which is actually tomorrow, so it was yesterday that flashed by with me nodding on the couch.

The room the tent is going into still needs to be cleaned up and sanitized. I am also going to be relocating the water filtration system. The hurry up and get it done, hurried up and left. No rush now 'cause of the order being ready Tuesday. Now let's see if I'll be ready.
