i finally got some time to get outsideand get some holes dug... im working with 7 gallon growbags filled with a nice mixture of some pro-mix, worm casting and a pre-mix fert that will later be supplimented when watered... while i was digging holes for the 7 gallon bags i noticed that water was forming at the bottom of the holes. im worried that when the roots grow out of the bottom of the bag that the very wet soil might not be good for the root system.... i also heard that it might be good for the plant because once the tap root grows thought the holes in the bottom of the bag and reach the watery soil the plant will need minimal watering from that point on... can somebody clear this up and help me decide if i should keep them in this location or is it a bad idea and i should possibly move the bags into a dryer location... anybody with experience with a situation similar? please help

i would keep it. i dont see what harm it could cause at all. its natural. check out brwndirtwarrior on youtube, he has to set up a waering system to water his outdoors. i would take the free water!!!

Unless this is the wettest time of the year for you. What if you get heavy rain? Obviously drainage is nil, so you'd be working with a mud hole. Standing water means an anaerobic environment, which could lead to disease and/or root rot.
Then again, your situation is kind of like a de facto hempy grow. I don't know man, I can see why you could look at it positively. Still, if you have an alternate spot, I'd be inclined to say 'use it'.

incase anything pops up like signs of people snooping around then ill be able to get up and go if its not too late in the year... i guess ill leave what i have outthere and move the other half to a different drye location... thanks yall
oh and one more thing... they got these outdoor deer camera things... like 2-300 buckks each... they work with an infared flash and can record either 5/15/30 seconds if motion is detected... i was thinkin about trying it out... anybody ever hear of these and how they work?

You hit the water table. If you wish to keep them in that location, you will need to mound up.
Anyone sniffing around your patch will probably spot the cameras and steal those too.
