ok, so i know a lot of people on riu.org have ordered from the attitude seedbank and have gotten the thai super skunk freebie seeds. i've been trying to find some info on them but there is little on the site. sooooo, i figured, what the hell i'll put some posts up about my personal use grow and let you guys in on how it has been going for me. i'll even put up some pixxx.
day 0 - 31
i germinated the five seeds that i got from the attitude. (amazing seedbank by the way, i recommend it to all who live in the usa.
) germed in a paper towel on top of my cable box. nice and warm and germina-tastic. four out of five germed and they were put into 3 gallon containers with a mixture of:
fox farm ocean's forest
3 cups vermiculite
1 tbsp mexican bat guano (10-2-1)
i labeled the seeds s1 - s4. s1 and s2 sprouted quickly and were healthy. for some reason s3 and s4's root tips rotted off. i don't think they were over watered. i don't know if it was my mistake or just crappy seeds. whatever, done is done.
they were put under 40 watt electrolux flouros until they were one week old.
after that they were moved out of the baby area and put into my veg room with a 400 watt hps in a hydrofarm radiant hood. hydrofarm is tops, btw. temps were ~80 F daytime and ~70 F at night.
feeding schedule (i use earth juice nutes and the water i use is always plain water from the tap left to sit out for 36 - 48 hrs. pH = 6.5. all nutes are added to 1 gallon of water and parceled out to each plant):
watering 1 - 6 cups of water each
watering 2 - 6 cups of water each + 1/2 tbsp grow + 1 tsp meta-k.
watering 3 - 6 cups of water each.
watering 4 - 6 cups of water each + 1/2 tbsp grow + 1 tsp catalyst + 1/2 tsp meta-k
watering 5 - 6 cups of water each + 1/2 tsp catalyst
watering 6 - 8 cups of water each + 1 1/2 tbsp blackstrap molasses
watering 7 - 8 cups of water each + 1 tbps of mexican bat guano (left to sit overnight to dissolve)
watering 8 - 8 cups of water each
watering 9 - 8 cups of water each + 1 tbsp grow + 1 tbsp bloom + 1 tsp microblast
that's about accurate. give or take a little in there. so anyways, that's 32 days of watering and the watering is backloaded because by day 21 - 32 they were both sucking the water up like crazy. i repotted them on day 22 into 5 gallon containers.
by day 31 heights were:
s1 = 18"
s2 = 15"
decided to go to flower on day 32 because of height limitations, my grow space is 8' tall, but i have to factor in the containers and my lamp height.
we're now in day 35 and my heights are:
s1 = 25"
s2 = 21"
i watered yesterday and gave them each 8 cups of water + 1 1/2 tbsp of blackstrap molasses. they are healthy as can be and i'm pleased with their progress. here are some pics that i took today. sorry i don't have any pics from day 0 - 31. hope this helps. i'll update maybe once a week.
