Keep the glass on Light Hood?

Just bought a 600w setup, but was wondering if anyone recommends taking that piece of glass between the lights and plants off? I know this will take away alot of heat but is that something i need to worry about?

um, that would fully depend on your temps. keep the room 75-78.

if your not air cooling it, take it off, it's blocking some of your light output.

Could you damage or break the glass if you leave it on and no air flow through the reflector?

I'm no expert but I doubt it.

keep the glass on, i use 3/16" temepered glass to keep my lights lower air cooled also
