Extra CFL side lighting? Rigging an Aerogarden

ive been growing with a 400watt HPS system, and i got these 2 aerogardens just sitting in my closet so i thought what the hell; side lighting.
I think im going to take off the top part where the 2 lights are and rig them to sit near the sides of the plants.

Let me know what you guys think
ill try to get some pics tommorow

I did think about this, but i also have 2 t5 46in tubes, and these work just fine for clonelings;

I just thought i could use them for some extra lighting for the sides my HPS or MH dont quite get all the way.

but i did use the aerogarden before i got my setup, and thats actually where the ones im growing came from.
