what smells stronger a bbq or a huge crop?

hey all, sorry i havent been on in a while, i took a mini vacation at my boys house in maryland. but anyway, a couple days ago me and my boy were hangin outside and i smelled somebody having a bbq and we had the worse munchies of all time. i mean it was serious!!!! i almost drooled im tellin' you!! lol but anyway, like a boodhound i found out where the house was. it was about 3 streets over. we seen these guys hangin out in front and we asked if we could eat and chill. the guys were real chill and let us eat. gave us beer and even smoked us up. later on were sitting by the fire, smokin, some guy was jammin on a guitar, and the owner of the house asked us how we found the house. my boy said "oh my friend the bloodhound over here smelled you out." and everyone starts laughin. i asked the owner of the house why everyone was laughing, and he says "oh its because befor u guys came, we were all worried about somebody smelling all this bud smoke." and that led to a debate on what smelled stronger. a bbq or a large scale bud crop. my vote is with the bbq. what do you guys think?

First of all we need to consider some variables here. Are we talking teriyaki chicken or pear wood smoked pork tenderloin?

well there was pork tenderloin, ummm what else........burgers, franks, porterhouse, and a whole bunch of bbq chicken...............awww man, im hungry again lol. and it was gas grill.

I would have to say a BBQ, because I can smell a nice BBQ from blocks away, I mean the meat is burning...

I would think bud wouldn't smell as bad because it's just growing, not burning - like bud stinks(in a good way) but but doesnt stink enough to reek up the air in a quarter mile radius like a BBQ can

who the hell invites the neighborhood over for teriyaki chicken....lol...and who bbqs that...we like redmeat..lol
and i would have to say bbq..just cuz u only usually smell the crop when your like 10 feet from it.if that...heinse..neighbors or the mail man...your not going to smell a crop a block away inless they are burning it in the backyard or something..
thats my 2cents.

Ohhhh I love BBQ. I can smell that shit miles away. Had a nice little BBQ at my sisters place last night. Yum yum.

I like your gusto to smell it out and march your ass over to ask for some. I have never actually done that. LOL

rofl ! excellent thread ^^

i can tell you that bbq smells stronger than weed smoke because i can smell it the whole time, my neighboors keep grilling, makes me really hungry evry time.... :)

i see that everyone on RIU loves bbq. im sapposed to have a bbq this weekend and im gunna invite all my friends and my gf and where gunna smoke out and grill. and plus i just got a new gas grill so ive been waiting to really bust it out.

Depends on the town. I have driven through poor neighborhoods in a town south of here and during the summer with your car windows down you will definitely catch the aroma of some fine ass ganja. This has happened to me numerous times. In richer neighborhoods BBQ's are the dominant odor.
