I tried making some hash the other night and it turned out great with no complaints I used the ice method with bubble bags. Anyways. I have some more leaves that are completly dried out and sitting in a box. Will these work as well or is there a point where the leaves are just to dry to be usable?

it will work but you may get some crumbs in your final product if it breaks down to much. be very gentle when you agitate it.

i made bubble bag hash for the first time last night and i was pulling out green hash and was expecting it to be light brown or dark brown...green hash is cool right? just making sure cuz its my first time and at first i put the bags in the wrong order and didnt get shit then rearanged them and got alot but it was green as fuk

Not sure about the green. I think thats something thats tried to be avoided, I just dont remember what it means. Possibly bad leaf to start with? Mine turned out like a tan color...like sand

No green hash is not good!! As it is green it means that there is lots of plant matter mixed in with the trichomes.

Also if you hash is a sandy texture then its mean that its more of broken trichomes than full. This tends to lead to a bad smoke.

When i got my bubble bags i loved to see what diffrent screens gave diffent types of hash but after a few times it got on my tit to keep going through 7 diffrent bags. A nice trick is to just use the 3 smallest screens and the work bag. granted all your diffrent grades of trichomes will be mixed together but you will have enough to make a nice ball and it will get better with time i found.

But tbh most people throw their trim away so what ever you get backs a bonus.

I would def recommend making some BHO (honey oil) next time. Less work, and much better end product, few hits and your on your ass. :peace:

it actually turned a light tan color and it looks like keif kinda..not chunky or sticky enough to ball up...any ideas on what i should do tmrw to make better HASH i got like 100grams left of trimmings and wanna make more..and i got a 5bag 5gallon bubblebag

I would just go for what i said use the bubble bads but only with the smales screends and work bad. You will end up with a lot more and it will be easy to rol into a ball.

Or get some butaine (lighter fluid) and make some Honey oil, Easy to do and best smoke of your life.

Also do look around for some more vids on the matter and then you can mix and match your methods.

100gs of trim would make you a good few Gs of H-oil.

Or with your Bubble bags 5gal, get the work bag and a extra bucket (no other bags at this point) useing only work bag mix trim in and watch water turn browny, do this for a matter of time and then remove work bag from bucket. Get other screen bags and attach to a new bucket (5gal) pour browny water from one bucket into the bucket with the screens in. add some fresh water to clean out side of bags. You will have 5 diffrent types of hash in each screen bag.

Persoanly i would make the Honey oil. :peace:

yea i hella want to make oil its just i have no idea what to use for my tube? any idea's? i got a shit load of trimmings so i want to make both hash and oil

Use a PVC tube, maybe 6 - 7 inch long, coffee filter at end of tube and a insert for the gas nozle at top. Or purchase a Honey bee extractor online very cheap and will last a life time. :peace:

whattt u can use a honey bee extractor? u can get those at orchard supply or home depot places like that right? they work good? any tricks u gotta do to them?

Im not to sure about that one m8 im in london. Can get them online maybe £18 - £20 depending on what site.

The only way I ever made hash is by screening weed and later briefly baking the captured "pollem"...you have to screen all the leaf matter out, of course...if you do not, it will be a green color because of that...but I can tell you this...I have had strains of weed that produced a green colored "pollem"...and the hash was green when done...it tasted the way you'd expect blonde hash to taste and it got you blasted...so my theory is that you can occaisionally produce green hash (by screening) without having screwed it up...it is rare though, only produced green "pollem" a couple of times, both times using basic commercial weed
