First Grow: Greenhouse Vert Racks!

Nice man, looks like they are coming along. Look a little stretched, but great usage of space nonetheless.

That has to be the ghettoest light hanging I've seen since mine last winter. haha keep it up man.

Dammmn onnly 1 week? Thats a ton of growth.

Really? I thought the internode length was relatively tight for their first 2 weeks of flowering. That smaller comparison pic doesn't show them real well but some of the other pics do, most of them are all within an inch except a few of the GDP's. If so though, it won't be a problem on the next run as we will have more advanced temperature control and keep it at a constant temp. the entire time, which would shorten the length considerably. But do you believe it's going to be an issue further down the road on this grow?
As for the light hanging, ghetto indeed, but damn is it easy to adjust that way and considering how often we have to do so, I dig it. :eyesmoke:
As for usage of the space, I agree, and thank you! We left room for another 20 or so plants to fit with a few minor adjustments as well, but we're limited for this round.

And yes, 1 week of growth in the comparison pic, it's fascinating! :weed:

well whats awesome about vert grows is u can run one piece of twine along the top colas and hold them all up together, so I don't think it will be a problem. Its just the top row that looks stretched, maybe just the pic I saw. They are still in vegetative phase, you can tell by the amount of vertical growth in one week. Theywill probably veg for a total of 2-3weeks minimum before flowering.
The plants aren't flowering until they start busting out with pistils and calyxs all over.
Is the greenhouse open to sunlight as well as the hps?

Sorry I don't think the new pics we took show the amount of flower production they've already shown. They started showing significant pistil growth in the beginning of the second week, these pics are at the end of week 2, which I posted on Page 1 already. Although not very good, you get the idea. They're MUCH more pronounced now early into the third week, which you'll see when we take more pics Saturday. :)
Anyway, point being, I assure you they started flowering early into the second week of 12/12. :-P

niiice, its like cp for buds.
So you run the hps light 12/12 what about sunlight does it hang around for more hours? most places don't have 12 hour days still or yet, unless you're an aussie mebbes.

Hey guys, update time!
This week unfortunately was probably the worst we've had. We got absolutely tore up by spider mites, fortunately we have them under control finally, but they did their fair share of damage to our girls. :(
And we accidentally waited a little too long on one of the watering's. I say "we" because, no matter who's fault it was, "There is no 'i' in 'team'." That's just how it goes. It did cause us to lose a couple fan leaf's here and there and some of the old growth has lost some of it's beautiful shade of green. But, that's okay, because they are getting FROSTY with beautiful pistils everywhere! :weed:
Just have to make sure there's no room for mistakes in the future, I think you're allowed at least one on your first try, right? :eyesmoke:
We've been feeding with FloraNova and will be adding in liquid KoolBloom now, anything else we should do at this point to make a difference yield/quality wise?
Let us know what you guys think, we love the feedback!

hey dude....sweet set up. Sunlight and 600w not a bad idea at all. I am trying do something similar indoors. I was just wondering how you built your rack? You said the woods you used, but could you possibly show your design of the rack and how you angled your plants?
