why would u want to cut a male plant. use it for hash or use the pollen to cross a strain. no reason to try and make a male plant nice as sh*t. for females, yes you can cut/trim it but i wouldnt do it after you been flowering for over a week.

Are you talking about topping? or actually cutting off buds midway through flower?
No not topping sir, but actually cuting off
the females flowers in preflowering
during veg, this may cause 10 times
more flowers meaning more buds.
Nothing to do with cutting a male at all
just the female buds

well it is a head liner

only if you proved something.... i do like the idea though... mainly because i have never heard of it before, and love to learn/experiment....

so what you are saying in your theory is if you cut/pinch off the first signs of female flowers, the plant would possibly respond by growing them back and growing more of them, thus increasing the budsites??... it would surely take a bit longer to flower, but i dont see it doing any other harm....

i say give it a shot:-P

Supercropping doesn't take off the flowers, you pinch the stem below the main cola until it just barely pops, then the cola swells up. But yes, supercropping is somewhat like this idea.

what is your opinion on the idea kalikit?? i know you have one;-)....
i personally dont think it will work, but it does make enough sense on paper to warrant an experiment... the main problem i see being that there is really no place on a given plant to pack more calyxes than the cannabis plant already does... they seem pretty efficient at space utilization

males produce no buds just pollen sacks and petal like flowers.
leafing does not play a role in sex, rather at the internodes at the base of each branch on the main stem
