The buds are getting fatter! I'm very excited about all this, as its the first "name brand" grow i've tried. I'll be updating this weekly or thereabouts until harvest.

If anyone has any questions, comments, concerns, or input please feel free to throw them at me. I'm still new to this game, but because of YOU the RIU gurus, I think I'm making real headway into growing. Thank you guys (and girls) for everything!

/the pics I believe are pretty self explanitory. the last in the series is, of course, the entire plant which is over 3 ft tall\

nice man, those are about what mine are lookin like now(hairwise at least), mine are bagseed though. ima keep an eye on this one so i can compare my progress, how long have yours been flowering?

joker - those have been in flower for 5 weeks now. I'm hoping this heavy sativa will be done in another month to a month and a half

jto - thanks man I appreciate it alot. i've been trying real hard to get a beautiful looking plant and on try 3 i think i got it ha


Anyone look to project at how much more girth these babies'll put on before harvest? I got a 150w HPS (main lighting) with 7 CFL's and a 70w HPS (side lighting) and i'm using a 0-10-10 solution with about a 6-0-0 every week or so to add the nitrogen they'll need

:clap: looks great. dont you hate how slow those sativa dom strains bud so sloooooooooooooow? worth it in the end though :hump:

ak, its my first grow with a sativa dominate, but thanks to RIU i knew what to expect. thanks for the encouragment its going to be a looong month and a half . . . ha

those look heavy on the sativa side, i would think you got a ways more to grow, height wise, as your colas should be spear shaped and long as shit!

morris - thanks swiss is heavy sativa (obviously) so i'm hoping it doesn't outgrow its space anymore than it already has ha. i've been bending the shit out of anything coming too close to the light and also to allow some farther downs a chance to get in on that light.

the "main cola" as it were is just a ball of bud closing in on half to 3/4 the diameter of a tennis ball at this point since the main stem was bent over a few weeks ago and all the bud sites are starting to just explode.

This is my first attempt with a sativa dominate, and i'm loving every second of it!

It seems like every day these babies just keep swelling! i'll probably upload some pictures either tonight or sometime tomorrow. its just amazing

Hey guys I have a couple questions!

#1 in the last pic, does anyone else see the brown spots on my leaves? She's only getting fed once every two weeks with a clean res, so I wouldn't think it would be nute burn but I could be wrong?

#2 in the close up bud shot, can anyone tell what the trichs are looking like on the leaf? they still look clear to me, but then again I am a noob



If someone can answer number 1 asap that would be great. I've worked too hard on my girl to piss her off now as i'm thinking we're down to the last 4-6 weeks

if your talking about the discoloration on the tips of the fan leaves i would say you gave her just a little too much food, doesnt look serious but i would back off on the nuets for a few to let them rebound

casper - i got a 30x loupe and to me at least they still look clear, but like i said i'm still new to this

joker - thanks again for the help. i've used the same feeding plan since flower started, and i've just now got those spots. I'll back it off to half strength for awhile and see what comes of it

ok, so i got some more bud-porn to anyone thats interested.

the 1st two pics are for size reference. my hand is about4 odd inches wide (from knuckle to knuckle) and those are just the smaller side shoots as i can't really get back to the main cola to take a picture

the third picture is just sexy enjoy it :leaf:

the last picture is a much better close up of the trichs, so i was wondering if anyone could give em a look and let me know what you think they're looking like.
