Is This Harmful?

so i check one of my plants and find that mushrooms are growing next to them

im not to worried about it, but would this be potentially harmful at all?

and how the hell did mushrooms get in that pot when it is inside all day?

i just thought this was pretty funny/weird...

I think if you have Mushrooms growing then you have major problems with humidity levels.

Way too high humidity broseph.

i have a pepper plant in a container outside that i just found mushrooms in yesterday... kinda freaked me out, but the plant is healthy as hell, so i just take it to mean that i have some really rich soil....

yours being indoors though, i would be a little more concerned about..

Mushroom spores float through the air as much as any plants pollen. You could have picked up spores on your clothes and they got dropped in your environment.

Like someone suggested, check your humidity. IMO It shouldn't be more than 65 percent. Also, did the mushroom caps open? If not, you should be able to remove them fairly safely. If they DID open, be carefull when you remove them so as not to distribute fresh spores over the rest of your soil. Good luck...
