White Rhino grow (pics)

Here's my latest White Rhino grow. They're a month into flower and grown in soil, using Fox Farm's line of nutrients. For lights, I have a 400 watt HPS, some 4ft fluorescent tubes and multiple 100 watt CFL's. The idea with the lighting is overkill. I have fresh air intake and vent regularly. I've got three plants - enough for personal use with my wife

Forgot to mention - I put chopped up banana peels in the soil this time. Back when I was little (a LONG time ago), my grandpa always told me to put peels in the soil with tomato plants (potassium, I guess). He swore by them. My mom used banana peels in her roses, and she's convinced they work. So, I figured I would try them. No noticeable difference from other grows...

nice looking plants over here. I have a similar lighting setup...soon to get 4 extra 300 watt CFLs up. its way overkill

I've never smoked it before, so I'm getting excited.

I'm also tired of the last strain I grew, which has lasted me for about a year. Smoking the same stuff every night (even though it's DANK) gets old!

That's the main reason I want to start a perp. Rotate at least 3 strains for a variety and to keep my tolerance down.

I feel ya. I just started some Afghooey and AI with the idea of having a new harvest of something different every three months. I am literally sick of my present buds.

I'm even buying new pieces to mix it up a bit, thinking it will vary the high. I smoke it out of the bong, the bowl, a joint, a vape, etc.... and I still want something else.

Oh well.......soon..........

Here's an update:

I'm going to harvest here real soon. I began flushing a week ago. I went a little heavy on the nutes towards the end and you can see the burn. I only use FF Big Bloom and in small quantities, but these plants didn't like it at all. I've never seen it. Normally my plants LOVE the FF.

I'm still using molasses and will do so up to the harvest. I do have a small problem. I'm going on a trip to Europe on May 29 for 8 days and don't know what to do with my plants. They will be harvested, but I won't be home to burp the jars after they're dry. I'm afraid that if I simply leave em to hang, then they'll get too dried out. Perhaps a brown bag will be best???

What do you guys think? I've never encountered a situation like this. I didn't time everything that well, but tickets were cheap and Amsterdam awaits...

Rhino is great. its a staple round here. One thing it likes is intense lights.
i would get rid of all fluros and get all hps. you wont regret it.

your plants look nice btw!!!!
