yo here it is, the may 09 jrc!!

entrees will be accepted as pictures loaded to the riu thread. outside links disqualified since they could go down, etc. one entry per user by may 20

judged completely by myself the best joint will win title of jrc champ may 09. The picture as a whole is going to be a large part of the judging. Webcam pics, no good. Adds an element of creativity to the comp, these should be some quality pictures of joints.

you guys all probably roll joints every day, as do I, and like to make em a little fancy when the time comes, so post your joint in a pic with a title unless its nameless.

ok people please get your entries in by may 20.

I like to roll a variety of J's For just a little jay for myself I use reg zig-zags. If it is going to be passed I roll in a tip and use the hemp papers. If there is a lot of herb or its time for a big joint I'll roll one with the orange zig-zags.

I just tried out that clear paper too and I don't like it. Burns shitty and is sure as hell does not taste like mango even when I lick it :spew: Just the novelty value I guess.:confused:

looks like u got a filter n there.. i always use one. i got all my friends doing it too. you save so much that way.

nice roll btw. i'd show off myself, but i quit. so don't have any on me :cry:

It saves you in a couple ways. First it saves you from sucking your herb out of the joint. Second it saves on herb by allowing you to smoke it all instead of havng a roach left over. Toke down to the filter and have fun!

Now, back to the competition!

Edit: It occurs to me that you have no idea what we're talking about when we say filter - it's not like the filter in cigarettes. Most of us tear off a strip of the cardboard from the papers box and roll it up. Some roll it right into the joint, others put it in after by packing the herb back off an end and inserting it tightly coiled then allowing it to expand back out for a tight fit.

ur thinking of a cig filter.. im talking about just rolling a lil piece of cardboard up. try it yo :hump:

EDIT: ill try to remember to roll one up for my buddies n post it. fuck drug testing :(

Can we end this silly tip argument?

These are pictures of, tips, roaches, ect.

Just a piece of card stock that you roll up and put in the end of your J. It stops the weed from getting in your mouth and lets you smoke it all the way down.

everyone here in the uk always uses a roach, i.e. a small piece of card curled to make a solid filter, that doesn't stop the goodness getting through but stop those flakes of weed hitting the back of your throat as you inhale

i like normal joints, coned joints and tulips, but i haven't made a tulip in years. Might have a crack at it later when i wake up properly

i would never smoke it, looks as unhealthy as shit with that super thick paper and the bud isn't even ground so it won't burn properly, but hey if your copying a film then that makes it alright
