what does flushing mean?

I am growing in soil and using organics and ready to harvest in two weeks and i heard about flushing but should i stop feeding or what?

Yes stop feeding, and flushing is running water through the soil letting the water drain out the bottom basically

you can also leave it in the dark the last 2 days before harvest.

I've read a few times now that if your growing organic, that flushing wasn't neccessary. When you flush, your basically trying to wash out all the chemicals in the plant so it tastes better and your not smoking chemical fertilizers. Not sure with organics since it doesn't have all the chemicals.

There is flushing when you are trying to correct PH or Nute Lock (Pouring water till it runs through) and then there is flushing at the end of Veg which is what you are talking about.

I have heard its about the Nutes to clean out the buds but also its about getting the last of the Chlorolophyll (I think it was Chlorophyll) out to the buds, its supposed to help "finish" the buds.

Also 3 days of dark at the end of the grow just before harvest is supposed to help "finish" buds.

It seems to help IMHO.
