if you didnt germ in a paper towel it could take a couple weeks

Heres what I do every grow and I have 100% success rate but I still germ 1 more than I need every time though. Take like the Doc. said and use a paper towel but here is the key. I take and boil 6 cups of water in a pot once its boiling you want to pour it all over a Plate and a Bowl with a paper towel in it. That will sterilize it all and then its simple pour the water out of the bowl and wait for it to cool down and dry off a little bit. Take the bowl off and ring the towel out just a little bit so its not sopping wet. On the plate, fold the paper towel up into about a 3" square and between the middle layers put your seeds. Take the bowl now and flip it over to cover it all from light.
Try and get a good seal but its not that big of deal because the seeds are dark between the towel. Then I take and put it on top my satellite receiver and leave the receiver on for the warm bottom. But check it every 8-12 hours and the reason for checking it is the longer the sprout gets I find the worse the plant does in the next 2 weeks had 2 plants with the longer sprouts die at about 1 week. Once its just 1 cm. plant it sprout Down and down is the key for sure some say up bad idea. I usually plant them when the sprouts range from 1 cm. to nothing as long as it has cracked opened and you can see white inside. I still germ 1 extra just incase but I have yet to have a failure (germ wise) so I just plant them all and if one dies or goes male then perfect haha.
